The hotel looks a bit tired. Rooms have some wear and tear. A few things need to be repaired such as the bedside lamps.

The sound of slamming doors all morning. The property needs to be renovated as it has deteriorated since we last stayed 2 years ago and the view onto someone’s washing line wasn’t great. Plus we used their car park next door and constantly having to ask the staff to open it to get into it became tedious especially when having to pay €17. Don’t know why it isn’t fob activated.

No slippers and bathrobe in the room. The bed could be a bit wider and softer.

Excellent location, both for visiting the historic old town and for strolls along the river. The nearby modern art museum is well worth a visit. The bistrot in the hotel is very good value, with excellent service and refreshingly quiet and discreet. Especially engaging is the passionate history of Leida.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, providing everything that I needed. I like that they supply you with an eco-friendly recycled toothbrush as well as other items. With the location being close to the train station, it was convenient to walk to.

The parking is horrible. Both attempting to get into the garage as well as the parking lines are all backwards. It the entrance was increased with both doors and then the parking lines we so you could drive directly into the spot, it would be much better. The Manager also came in with his van and had major difficulty parking it. I am sure there are many cars that come out scratched.

The rooms were good. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was reasonable for the price. The location was really good, with walking distance from most.

No parking at hotel. However there was a public parking garage within a 5 minute walk. At the time of visit some remodelling activities going on. But all services still rendered.

Location excellent - close to town and close to river and park with really some nice walks for us and the dog. Also dog friendly welcome package with dogbed and toys.

The people at the front desk were very friendly and did manage to accomodate our parking with special requests in a very nice way. I like the atmosphere and the dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast was very good too.

We couldn't work out how to adjust the temperature so it was cold, without extra blankets in the room.

The room was spacious and clean with a separate section for the desk/wardrobe. Also, they provided secure car parking alongside the hotel. We enjoyed a good variety of foods at breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations for dinner.

The double bed was a bit small. It was quite hot and we stayed with the window open. During the night there was noise in the neighbourhood.

The room was clean, breakfast and restaurant very good. Location good. Staff very friendly and helpful.
