The wood floor in our room was very creaky and dangerously slick.

Color, decor, view, front desk staff. The rebuilt castle is a few steps away from the hotel and worth a visit.

This is a fabulous hotel overlooking a castle. English spoken by Reception.Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Lovely dining room serving good quality food. A really enjoyable stay.

Lacking information had to ask for everything. For example No WiFi code in room or provided at checkin. It was on wall at lift but no one told me it was there No facilities or restaurants shown where they were Just find it yourself…very little info in room..

I chose this hotel for the view of the Castle which is literally opposite and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We were on a motorbike and parked right outside and our room was fantastic and above our expectations. It had a separate living area with coffee table and sofa, a large bathroom and a very large bedroom with french doors opening out onto a small balcony with views of the castle and beyond. We ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice and breakfast was exceptional, especially the 'cake' which was presented warm. Delicious.

No vegetarian meals on menu so couldn't eat in restaurant. Asked for continental breakfast but got full buffet breakfast.

The hot water took forever to arrive. It stayed tepid for so long that I thought there was no hot water. Have patience. There was also a slight smell that came from the bathroom twice when I walked in, but it dissipated quickly. Finally, even though I slept well, I could hear my neighbors moving and talking. It wasn’t bad, but it was more than I expected.

The hotel had a lovely old-style charm with wooden floors, meeting rooms filled with opulent furnishings, and deep red carpeting. Wonderful atmosphere and just across the street from the castle. The breakfast buffet was fine: cheese, meats, cereal, croissants, orange juice, fruits, pan tostada, yogurt, and coffee - all for 9 euros. The price of the hotel was very reasonable.

The beds were not so comfortable and the building is a bit noisy because it is a bit older.

The location next to the castle is very nice, not expensive and a good restaurant and terrace to complement facilities. Good value for money.

Interior is a little dated, there was an outside bar but no one working on it and the inside bar was also closed until the restaurant opened at 8:30. Not much to do there other than visit the castle.

Poor attitude of some of the staff. Some were very good, a couple of them were ignorant.

You can hear all the visitors in all the rooms at the same time. Very loud creaking of the floorboards, both in the room and in the hallway. And when they flush the toilet behind the wall - there is no chance not to wake up. So no insulation at all, like we live all together. Also the breakfast is too poor for the price, the kind of orange juice is a poisoned beverage, actually the cheapest you could find in a supermarket. There is a very good restaurant inside but dinner starts only at 20-30 which was too late for us.

The floors are a bit creaky but thats to be expected in a beautiful old hotel

It is a great location for a stop off while on a motorcycle tour ,great parking ,great breakfast and the meal we had in the evening was outstanding ,the staff are an absolute credit to this hotel ,could not have been nicer or more friendly

The double bed in 211 isn’t comfortable but this isn’t a modern or fancy hotel, so you get what you pay for. Waiting staff were a little abrupt and not enamoured by my terrible Spanish and asking for anything for the children that was off menu.

Location was incredible. The views are wonderful. The food in the restaurant is very good. Good wine list.
