Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaOnly a small minus: - some of the windows in the outside area are quite dirty. Thats a real waste of potential because the views on the Atlantic Ocean would be really great from there.
A very nice and clean Hotel with friendly Stuff. The rooms are clean, big and comfortable. The Pool and the Lobby is very nice with a Billard Table, a small bar and many sitting areas. Also recommendable is the small but nice spa area, which can be booked for 14 Euros per hour. Although it’s an all inclusive Hotel in a quite touristic region it’s not too overcrowded and quite calm. Something which was not a problem to us but should be considered: Due to the rather rocky coastline in the Region there is no direct access to the ocean or a Beach from the Hotel.

United KingdomSteps. There is a lift but you have to go up several steps to get to it - with your cases. Then when you get to your floor you had to go down more to the room level. Madness. The seating in the reception/lounge area was some of the most uncomfortable I have come across. It all looks lovely from a design point of view, but practical it is not. They are all too low, too deep and with low and hard backs.
Large room Food ok, not gourmet but varied Liked the surrounding area and parade of shops and restaurants Good looking hotel and right by the sea, although not immediate beach access Free parking available but make sure you drive down the ramp to the front of the hotel to drop off your bags first, as quite steep or a lot of steps.

United KingdomNothing to dislike. We only stayed to be nearer the airport after a holiday in the north but would stay again as it’s very pleasant.
The hotel was very clean with a large room and bath which is always a treat. The buffet food and wine was excellent and staff lovely and helpful

United KingdomWe had a lower ground floor room with no balcony. The rooms smelt a bit damp and when standing in the bathtub to have a shower the base of the bath felt like I was going to go through it. It felt worn and flimsy
Location was fantastic and the helpfulness of the staff

United KingdomLocation is in the centre of what i would describe as Brit-ville, which i was unaware of before booking. If you're looking for more of a Spanish vibe, look further up the coast I'd reckon. If you want a curry, pizza or steak and chips, served by people with british accents though, you have several choices lol. Despite there being a sign saying don't reserve loungers by the pool, staff seem to help people reserve from around 8am.. My room balcony had loads of cigarette butts on the ledge, visible from the balcony. Room was fine but the design of the bathroom had a towel rail at a right angle to the toilet, meaning standing or sitting was a bit of an effort as there wasn't much room in between.
The staff were excellent - polite and helpful. The breakfast is brilliant - full range from fruit and fry ups to traditional continental and even churros and chocolate. There's even a chef making omelettes to order. Room was a good size and comfortable and had a fridge, safe and TV with a range of channels from across Europe. The beaches were super quiet as most of the guests in the area stay by the swimming pools seemingly. They are more the pebble variety though but great I'd you don't mind that more natural vibe. Easy walk to the nearest town which had some great fish restaurants.

IrelandThe room was nice, it faced the sea, but it could have had a nicer bathroom. It felt a bit dated.
I only stayed for one night, in transit from the airport, but it was a great hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and the pool was great.

United KingdomThe location is not good if you want to visit Las Americas regularly as the taxi fares will mount up. If you want to relax and not leave the hotel regularly or if you want to play golf daily then this will be the perfect hotel for you.
The room was very good and was bigger than expected. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was good quality and better than expected especially when compared to other all-inclusive hotels I have visited. The "Seaview" was standard, It wasn't technically a beachfront hotel, so in all fairness the descriptions are not misleading and I have no complaints.

SwitzerlandI love how friendly the staff were. They were very helpful, when I asked to keep my bag or if i can get help from a taxi etc. Also the buffet was really nice, i only tried the breakfast one. The neighbourhood is so cool, i had a beautiful run by the ocean, a lot of options to eat out etc. For me it was very much worth the money
