The receptionist, Naomi, was so friendly and helpful to us after a stressful journey to find the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet suburb of Malaga, but just 10 minutes from the beach and 25 mins from the main part of the city.

We loved our stay in Villa Lorena . Naomi was so friendly and welcoming . She was helpful advising us about parking , sightseeing and directions. Our room was lovely .. the hotel was tastefully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean .

The helpfulness of Elena. Nice breakfast and good quality. The honesty bar very good. Comfortable and homely. The seating outside great, as well as beautiful ornaments. Having a pool good.

You could see into the bathroom so no privacy. No cava on arrival like we had last year.

Bathroom & shower a little small. No air conditioning which could be an issue in summer

Indeed, this is a charming boutique hotel. We praise the friendly, helpful service given to us by Naomi on reception. She was brilliant with us. The area was great for us. It is in a quiet up market residential area. Just one small hill to climb to the Hotel. Taxis are pretty cheap and there are plenty available. No need for Uber or Bolt. 10mins walk to the beach 20 mins walk to the port and 30 mins to the old town. Our bed was a great size double but our bathroom and shower a little small.

Lovely, small hotel with great pool and garden. Very handy for beach and beach restaurants (10 min walk) and a short bus/taxi ride to Malaga centre (or about a 30 min walk). Rooms simple but very clean, and hotel has a well-priced honesty bar. Highly recommend a stay at Villa Lorena

The shower was very small, and the TV system was not very user friendly.

The location was lovely, although a good 40 minute walk to the City center, but only 7 euros in a cab. Naomi on reception was brilliant, nothing too much trouble

Very clean and beautiful room. Located in a very beautiful neighbourhood, 15mins max by foot to Malagueta beach. Very close to bus station to get you to the city centre. Public transport in Málaga is very accurate and humane. All the staff 9f Villa Lorena is very helpful and pleasant, e.g. Naomi and Elena with which we had direct interaction the days we stayed at the room

A very minor issue but would have loved a coffee machine (with pods) in the room and a small fridge.

Beautiful building in a quiet leafy affluent neighbourhood a short walk from the nearest beach and a quick ride into town or Pedragalejo/El Palo on the bus Comfy bed, nice balcony and welcoming pool. Feels like your staying in someone’s mansion. We had room 6 (Sophia Loren). Elena is a smily, efficient and welcoming host. Great communication and clear instructions to enter the hotel and room (after reception closed at 4pm). Honesty bar is a great idea and not overpriced. Loads of outside area for chilling out by the pool.

Bed was a bit too hard for my preference

This is a lovely little boutique hotel. I loved the quiet location and the little swimming pool. Naomi on reception was also a delight. I was able to use the pool and loungers after I checked out at midday.

In the shower toilet area there is a panel with no glazing, meaning anyone in bed can see you sitting on the loo. Hence I was unable to use the toilet in the room. A major issue for me.

Perfect hotel for our five night stay in Málaga. Spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast and a comfortable bed. Located in a residential area and a ten minute walk to the seafront. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There is no restaurant or bar, but there is a "honesty bar" where drinks and chips aso are available and you pay at your last day of stay. The rooms are rather small.

Indeed a charming little hotel, with great breakfast (at extra cost) in a quite location, about 10 min by foot from the beach and beach restaurants. Sitting in the evening sun next to the swimming pool with a beer or two from the bar was great. The whole hotel with its marble staircase has class.

Very pretty clean and just a nice place to be I only stayed for 8 hours as stayed as had a stop over flight but was very comfy bed and would definitely come back
