Everything about the hostel is well thought out for the comfort and convenience of the modern day traveller. The kitchen is the cleanest and tidiest one I've ever seen (and I've seen many in my travelling time!) They make a private box for you (not transparent) with your name on already before you arrive (this I found impressive!) so you can store all your dried food in without worrying about others taking it. All the facilities are tidy and well organised and there are different spaces within the hostel to relax and do different things like be by the infinity pool sipping a sangria on the rooftop terrace to watching something in the designated TV and music room to a quiet workplace in the middle of the floors. The quiet hours are strictly adhered to which is nice and the hostel generally has a nice ambience to it.

Everything was clean and the staff is very attentive and helpful. The bed is comfortable with plug on it, rooms are very quiet and there is enough showers/toilets for all guests (during my stay I never had to wait). Also a very well maintained kitchen. There are shared spaces to enjoy with other guests, which makes socializing very easy.

The facilities and the staff were excellent, a welcoming and open-hearted atmosphere. I loved the curtains for the beds, the common spaced and the pool on the roof.

Although I appreciate their eco-friendly purpose I wasn’t crazy about the foot pedals for the wash hand basins as they were quite noisy when pressed.

A beautifully-restored building in the charming old town, only a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach. I was really impressed with Veranera, largely due to the staff who were so welcoming, efficient, and well-mannered. They have created a gentle and respectful atmosphere and run the place exceedingly well. Also, to be commended is the housekeeper who keeps Veranera to an impeccable standard of cleanliness. The beds are extremely comfortable, and I slept brilliantly, The showers are also excellent. I had a great time and will definitely return!

I would say that if you are a light sleeper the private room on the first floor is probably not for you, although they have rules about silence after 11pm, that is understandably hard to enforce at a hostel, and also people are naturally having fun and will be coming in later and probably struggle to keep it down. Maybe it might be good to look at a slightly different door to help with noise cancellation? No other comment!! the rest was fab!

We absolutely loved the room, for us going for for the private space was perfect. It was spacious, had plenty of storage, was clean and a nice quiet space to return to after exploring the beautiful Estepona! The people that worked there were also so lovely and always on hand with recommendations for the best Tapas, beaches with no seaweed (Playa del Cristo) and for anything else that you could need! There were lovely small touches too such as personalised boxes where they put your name on them so you could store your food in the kitchen. We didn't use the terrace space for the small pool etc., however, we did have a few Sangrias which were lovely and fab value!

I have been to many hostels around the world, and I can def say that Veranera was the best one I have ever been to. Great facilities, room extremely comfortable, smart house, friendly staff, everything super clean and tidy. Such an amazing stay, and I wish I could have stayed more days.

The fact that I extended my stay to 10 days says everything. The hostel is first class, comfortable bed, room in general, clean toilet facilities, shared kitchen and terrace to relax in the evening and also refresh in the mini pool. Great atmosphere, great team (all of them, especially Paz). Great location for the beach and also day trips (Estepona bus station near).  In short, estoy enamorada del lugar y del hostel.

Beautifully located within the old town's cobbled streets and colourful walls with a stunning view from the rooftop! On arrival we were greeted with warmth by Bianca, who showed us around, making us feel instantly at home. Room was good and plenty of bathrooms (showers are the best!), great vibe and we loved the rooftop. Perfect location for exploring, only 5 mins from the beach! Highly recommend taking part in the yoga session on the roof too, it was delightful.

Nothing. Everything was great for me.

The property was amazing, centrally located, and very clean and tidy. The shared kitchen and toilets were always well-maintained. I stayed in the female-only shared room, which was great. As a solo traveler, this hostel was the best I've ever been to. The rooftop with the swimming pool was incredible! The staff were truly amazing and supported me throughout my journey. I ended up staying an extra three nights for all these reasons. Highly recommended. It was the best experience where you can meet people and still enjoy the quietness: after 10-11 PM, the shared areas are quiet, which is great. I will return for sure and highly recommend it to anyone looking for relaxation and the opportunity to meet people.

The only thing was that it made a lot of noise when turning on the water in the sink (foot pedal).

This small hostel was one of the most cute hostels I’ve stayed in. The place is new and well kept, with great facilities. It’s a somewhat small place, but it therefor gives a very intimate and personal feeling. I booked 3 nights in female dorm room, and prolonged it for 1 more night. The location is suberb, in the old city and away from noise, and close to the beach. The place is totally clean. It has a cute roof top as well. For me my stay wasn’t about being social this time, but the energy and atmosphere was friendly and calm, both from travellers and employees, so I totally got a feeling that if I wanted, the was room for social encounters. But also if you just want to do your thing, this is also totally okay in this place.
