Arrived on Monday when their bar is closed and there was no indication as to where the reception was. No sign or obvious bell to ring, gave impression of being closed down.

If you want to visit Barcelona from this place, be aware that you need to spend some money and time on travelling to city center.

The hotel is nice and the staff too. They made the check-in even at a late night possible for us. The hotel has all what needed for a basic stay. Also, this place is in Vilassar de Mar, which is close to the best pubs and discos of Spain.

The owners were very welcoming and the room & bathroom nice & clean. We were extremely happy, that the restaurant in the hotel was open. Exactly what you want after a long day… When we got our food we were just overwhelmed!! It was exceptional 😃 The seafood (and we have tried a lot) was one of the best (Dorade supreme!!)

Only one bathroom for a lot of rooms. No separate shower. Shower really bad, didn't even want to go in it. Terrible smell in bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff. We had to move to a different room after a few days and they were very helpful. Cleanness of room and the building. Food at the restaurant was really tasty. Smart TV that I was able to connect my phone to it.

We didn't like the surcharge of about 100 EUR by reason of us (2 guests booked) having 1 more kid of ours with us whom we did not specify as a guest separately (we did ask for a baby bed though, probably that's why we didn't get charged another 100 EUR?)... The reasoning for the surcharge was that more guests use more water and electricity etc. Yes, and they eat more at their restaurant as well, so not sure why one more shower is so off balance with the extra meal. In another hotel in Barcelona, and in countless other hotels, they just charge for the room and that's it; that would have been nicer. Perhaps kids break things, who knows. But anyway, nice hotel, the staff was kind, the meals were delicious. Free parking street nearby is nice, but beaches exist that are ways better than the nearby one. All larger food stores are a couple of kms off, but it has some smaller so-called supermarkets (micro groceries) in the vicinity.

Booking is mentioned as "beach view". Not sure if it's just a general description of the place or the room. but our view was to the back alley...so something went wrong.

Was very loud through the weekend. People were coming back to the rooms almost all night till earlie morning we couldn't sleep at all.

Room not ready for an hour so bought drinks while we waited that we wouldn’t have if the room had been ready, gave us a complimentary bowl of olives. The music from the restaurant sent booms of bass into our room which was more than irritating. Anyone can enter the stairs to the rooms from the restaurant area which felt insecure.

Location was ideal for us, needed to be in walking distance to the train station. Beach across the busy noises road, very nice cafe less than hundred metres away.

The service (food) left a lot to be desired - quality and efficiency. Pity because Tres Leones would have scored so much higher with efficiency (e.g. one night two of our meals did not arrive and no apparent apology. Then it happened again the following night!!)

I liked the place and location and staff. There was an amazing gazpacho soup which was only available on one of the days and a great paella.

Price is a bit too high for where the hotel is and the quality of the stay that it offers KEYCHAIN THAT COMES WITH THE KEYS IS UNNECESSARILY MASSIVE, IT'S MORE OF A MACE THAN A KEYCHAIN

Good location: 2 minutes walking to a quiet and clean beach, 30 minutes away by train from Barcelona city center, lots of cute local restaurants with great food and very friendly staff Rooms and facilities are clean

- the room was not as pictured, it was half the size - the water alternated from scalding hot to freezing cold without notice - the room was so tiny that two people could not pass each other; one had to sit on the bed for the other to move - the bed was horribly hard - the price was no less than other properties we have stayed at in the area where facilities were much better and rooms were much bigger - it’s noisy with the busy street outside and the restaurant below - the shower drain smelled of sewer - air conditioning only worked with power/room card so it was awfully hot when we arrived/returned to room

You could see the ocean from the property (but it was across the highway and a set of train tracks)

Exceptional stay at Tres Leones. Excellent food, ideal location! The bed is comfortable, the shower and air conditioning all work well! We really like this place! The personnel is very friendly and does the best! The room was exceptionally clean and we had a side view of the sea..The location is ideal, so close to the train station and the beach! I recommend you to reserve the table, lots of people come to eat their delicious meals! Thank you Tres Leones!

The team at Hotel Tres Leones is great, and the food is impeccable!!! I've stayed here multiple times and cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. I highly recommend staying here while in villasar!
