Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe could have done with instructions for the cooker. There isn’t a lot of natural light but we didn’t mind.
It was clean, neat and well-equipped with a lovely bathroom. The shower was excellent. The kitchen was perfect for cooking most meals. There was even a washing machine. There was air conditioning and a small outdoor terrace. The bedroom was comfortable. The location was perfect, right next to the market and a short walk to the beach.

SwitzerlandThe accommodation had everything you need, you could easily cook, wash and hang up laundry and even iron. It also had parasols for the beach and toys in the cupboard, which were very nice and pleasantly surprising extras. The location is excellent, directly at the market and very central, the train and bus station are also 4/5 minutes walk from the flat. There is also a lot of entertainment and restaurants close to the flat, overall I can only recommend it.

Words can't express how I felt🤗 staying in "Olivia"... It was a pleasant place to stay with a clean apartment and the fact that I could cook my favourite meal while on holiday was a plus for me. ChinaYou may need to pay attention that if you are not the European Traveler. They need the Eur 200 deposit by bank transfer through IBAN account. If you have any questions with this, you should communicate with the owner before booking. The bed mattress is a little bit too soft for me.
Very good location, easy access to wherever you want to go. 30 seconds walk to the Mecardo Central. We stay with 1BR Olivia with full kitchen facilities,including the coffee maker. The apartment is clean and new.

We have been located in Oliva flat. At the begining we could feel the smell of cleanleaness and novelty. Everything was perfect and spotless. The flat was very comfy. Perfect for three people: couple with a child. The location is perfect. All the touristic attraction in walking distance. Cafes, groceries and market next to the flat. The beach is about 12 minutes walk.
