Storage in the apartment could be a lot better, the steps in and out of the pool weren't good for people with mobility problems,

The location can’t be beaten and for the price this place is a great stay. The staff were also very nice, there is a small bar at reception where you can order a pint and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The pool area and pool bar are also really well maintained

Fab location, with plenty round about - as a family of 4 it was great for location 1 min to the beach, plenty resteraunts and bars around with local shops/supermarkets. 5min walk to the main square. Hotel room itself was nice and modern, clean and just what we needed for our stay (room 302) high enough up but not too high and over looking the front of the hotel/nightlife area though we couldnt hear noise at bedtime. Loved the aircon it was needed as it was boiling outside and good it stayed on when not in the room so we came back into a nice cold room. Kids said sofa bed was comfy enough for them (6&9yo). Friendly and helpful staff, had to notify them that when arrived our toilet didnt flush but was quickly fixed. Pool bar ample enough to get drinks and snacks, pool was good and no fight for loungers. Nice relaxed quiet area with minimal young people. Would return again if i was visiting santa ponsa and looking for cheap(er), cheerful, family accommodation or even couples/friend holiday.

When we entered the room, I didn’t pay attention to the cleanliness. We left our things and went to the store. But later at night I saw a lot of hair in the bathroom on the walls and bedroom. But the biggest disappointment was that there were a lot of small bloody marks on the side of our bed (I thought they were dead mosquitoes, but it turned out that they were boogers (a lot of boogers).I understand that the cleaners could simply not notice this. Since it was late at night, I had to clean the bed myself, but in the morning I contacted the reception. We were offered to change the room, but I asked to clean the room well and wipe the bed with disinfectants because it's could be some infections, remove hair and change the bed sheets .I also showed photos that I took before cleaning. The cleaners arrived a few hours later, we went to the pool so as not disturbed them. But imagine my disappointment when we came back I discovered that they had only replaced the bed sheets, towels and taken out the trash. The floors remained dirty and sticky. Absolutely ALL HAIR was in the same places in the bathroom like garlands. I realized that I needed to clean it myself. I no longer agreed to cleaning from the staff. This huge minus left a mark on our wonderful trip to Mallorca.

The reception staff were very attentive and helpful. When I told them it was not well cleaned in our room they offered to change the room or invite cleaners to clean. Apartment with a beautiful view and a small terrace. It was quiet . Although there were quite a lot of people around but this did not bother us at all. There were kitchen utensils in the room (sponge and dish detergent). Hotel is nice. Good location near the sea. Just an hour from the airport (A11 bus). Lots of different cafes and restaurants around. Lots of souvenir shops. It's a good place for your holidays.

That two ( friendly ladies ) entered our apartment at 2345hrs whilst myself and my son were asleep in our beds, with their own key card to our apartment! Front desk had made a mistake with allocating an apartment that was already occupied.(By us). I was assured this was escalated to management, as a safety issue.

As I've mentioned in the main description: The pool seems to be a bit small for the number of visitors and might be overcrowded at some moments. Another thing is the street food smells from the surrounding cafes, restaurants, and burgeries while sitting in the pool area. In general, the swimming pool area views could be better. It's not a drawback completely. But more about the hotel structure specifics. The higher you stay the more lifts you will use. For those staying on the upper floors, using 3 elevators might be challenging. Other than that it's a nice budget hotel.

The Sun Beach aparthotel is located perfectly in Santa Ponca. In walking distance of the beautiful sandy beach. Even though it's right on the main tourist street the rooms are located further from the street so, not too much noise from it. We got to Santa Ponca by a rented car. The hotel offers parking for an additional fee. But I suggest using nearby city municipal parking. Sometimes it might be hard to find a free place there, but if you wait up to 5 minutes you will find a free spot. Check-in process is smooth and clear. The hotel sends a link to check-in online before arriving. If you do so, you'll get to the room fast, once arrive. We booked a room with a sea view. And we got a room on the last floor (9th). The view from the balcony was nice except for the tree that closes part of the beach view (see photo). In some years, when the tree will get higher, the view will be just perfect. The hotel is structured in such a way that it requires to use 3 elevators to get to the 9th floor. Not a big deal for us but might be challenging for someone. The room has everything you could expect from a budget aparthotel. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bath has shower gel and soap. Rooms are air-conditioned. As we stayed for 2 nights we didn't have a cleaning service or towel change. But rooms are supposed to be cleaned every second day. The Internet connection was good and stable at our room. The swimming pool area has a lot of sunbeds. The pool itself seems to be a bit small for the number of visitors and is overcrowded at some moments. Overall I would recommend the hotel for a family stay in the Santa Ponca area. Ideally, I would recommend paying a bit more and booking a room with a sea view.

About the bathroom if there have a shower curtain should be better. The water always spit out everywhere getting wet.

Unfortunately on our stay we had ants in our room on the 1st night. The hotel was fully booked so a room change to same capacity wasn't possible. Staff were helpful and a pest control was apparently done the following day although can't guarantee this. We still found the odd few ants throughout our stay and on the last day there were large numbers again. We were given spray cans to kill them which helped but don't think got to the route cause. We were in room 601.
