We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalSomewhat difficult access to the park, but manageable. However too expensive (26€/night) and didn’t mention on booking. Also before booking we checked if we needed to pay before arriving to confirm the reservation and it said we didn’t have to. Yet, after having booked, we were asked to pay (which wasn’t a problem, but we weren’t warned).
Amazing breakfast. Very clean and beautiful. Really nice staff. Beautiful view from the terrace and pool area.

United StatesFrom the booking.com pictures, it appears that there are two pools you can use. You can use the cold rooftop pool at the top for free, but the beautiful pools at the bottom that look like caves are in fact part of the spa and cost extra.
Breakfast was very good and the location is fantastic, close to a center (but not cheap) parking garage. Room was big enough by European standards for our family. Great views at the rooftop!

Central location. Senator Cadiz (part of a chain of 41) is a well run hotel right in the centre of old Cadiz. It is an old styled hotel and is relaxed. The hotel is well managed and run. The staff are competent and helpful. The breakfast buffet and hot food counter are very good, except for poor bacon. There was a prolonged problem with the link for payment. It necessitated three (expensive) phone calls to a central reservations office. Our standard room had ample space with large beds and a window onto a narrow but quiet street. The large bathroom had the shower in a bath and a bidet. Avoid rooms close to elevators or with doors to link rooms; we had noisy neighbours for two nights. There is a shortage of electric plugs close to the beds which necessitated an extension lead. The bar area is unappealing with a limited daytime menu. There is no concession for guests at the fine spa within the hotel. The small unheated rooftop swimming pool with hydro jets was refreshing. Unfortunately the pool is not supervised , allowing unruly behaviour by two children. We really enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomDisappointed that the window in the room looked directly onto someone's apartment just a matter of feet across the lane. We felt that the hotel was expensive given that it did not include breakfast and was looking quite dated. The roof top pool and terrace were disappointing compared to the photographs that dominate the Booking.com Site. In particular the pool is much smaller and the terrace is much shabbier in real life.
Location of the hotel, comfort of the bed and cleanliness of the room. It was also a pleasant change to be a fully staffed hotel with a conscientious reception team.

LatviaThe only window was right against a building and the only thing visible was a balcony where people dried their socks and underwear. In that sense I guess it was good that the widow was small.
Perfect location for exploring the "old" part of Cadiz. Room was quiet and spacious. Breakfast was delicious with relatively wide variety of food available. Rooftop pool gives a chance for a refreshing morning dip.
