Unfortunately we had a kitchen type smell in our room, which couldn't be solved, it could be the aircon is picking up fumes from the very busy kitchen.

Another very pleasant stay, staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly the two ladies in reception, even arranging a padel match for us. The restaurant was very busy this time, it might have been a holiday and is used by alot of locals, which is always a good sign. We ate their twice and the burgers are excellent and very good value and the salads are good too.Dog friendly and will stay again in the future if we are in the area. We'll worth a trip in to the centre of Onati and the surrounding area is beautiful. Golf course, driving range and padel court on site.

A fantastic hotel set in the beautiful Basque Region, which surpassed my expectations. A good size room with air con, but had mosquito nets on the windows, so slept with the curtains and window wise open. There's a nice friendly buzz to the atmosphere, with a mix of families and couples, both young and old. By 10.30pm the outside area has emptied out, so no noise if you have the windows open. The only noise in the middle of the night, was the distant sound of wildlife in the forest. Breakfast was just €5.50 and was a mixture of fruit, pastries, bread meat & cheese. You order your hot drinks and help yourself to juice or water. The water dispenser is available all day and is free. Although it's linked to a Par 3 golf course it wasn't obvious, but I did have a stroll round it one evening and it looked fairly challenging.

Earlier start for breakfast.

Did not have breakfast . We had an early start and breakfast was not available. Quiet location but room was above a kitchen and was too noisy with windows open (we do not like air conditioning.)

This is a golf club in the mountains. We drove past it and had to turn around and descend to find it. Our mistake since it is fairly obvious from the road. It was busy when we arrived on Saturday evening. There was a birthday party downstairs and some singing. However this didn’t continue late. The room was clean and very comfortable. We ate in the hotel and the food was reasonable with friendly service. The continental breakfast was included and again friendly service. Plenty of parking. Fantastic location! Would definitely recommend .

I liked evrything.

Great place to stay, very quite area with a lot of trees, golf course and the best of all is that it is in the mountains. Staff were very courteous and help me to get a safe place out of the rain for my motorcycle. Restaurant and food was great.

There was only one croissant left the first morning we went for breakfast and we were there over an hour before ended. The girl said that they were all gone. Eventually a lovely man came out and said that he was making fresh ones.

The scenery was fantastic. We walked up the road on left-hand side of the Hotel and views were amazing

Lovely hotel with golf course and padel court in the mountains. Stunning views and very warm welcome, very friendly staff and helped us with our Spanish which was nice. Very good rubio beer on tap. Good value food, especially the salads and very nice outdoor seating area. Used alot by locals so that's always a good sign. Dog friendly, will definitely stay again. Spacious rooms.

Wonderful location! Spacious and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. We had read some comments stating the breakfast was poor so we didn't have much expectations, turns out it was really great! Great dinner as well. We'll return for sure next time we are in the area.

Almost nothing, except for the sewage smell coming from the plumbing in the bathroom.

Nice and quiet location, scenic views. Very helpful staff, also for indicating a safe place to park the car (avoiding me to remove the bicycle). Good food at restaurant, which was still open when I arrived (open until 21:30hrs)

A truck parked under our window and started it’s engine around 07:00 and left it running until 07:30 with no one in it , woke us up and kept us up

The location is stunning! Beautiful views, waking up and smelling the fresh pure air felt great. The room was very clean, like new, very big and comfortable. The restaurant serves very tasty food, the home made cheese cake was delicious. The staff was very attentive and kind. We travel with a dog and she was also very happy. We will definitely come back.
