Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainI'm very money-minded and a bit greedy, so I keep a close eye on every cent spent. To satisfy my greed, I'd love to have the €15 parking fee waived next time! While I understand the costs, I couldn't find anything else I didn't like about the hotel. 😉
I recently stayed at Hotel Silken Puerta Madrid, and it exceeded all our expectations. Its perfect location, halfway between the airport and the city center, made our travel experience smooth and convenient—our choice couldn't have been more spot-on. The hotel's food service was a delightful surprise, offering meals at very reasonable prices compared to the often steep restaurant bills in Madrid. The quality of the food and the exceptional service truly stood out. In addition to the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, we highly recommend not only the hotel park but also the parking facilities, which are well-equipped for charging electric vehicles. SpainJust a small callout (though not super relevant), the doors to the corridor are not completely sound isolated, so sometimes you can hear people talking outside. But as mentioned, it was very rare and not disturbing at all.
The overall hotel experience was superb. Amazing staff, always willing to help, and the room was also really great, having a lot of space.
