Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainSmall thing: the emergency exit light in the room could be dimmed down a lot, it was way too bright. And also another thing, this is not really about the hotel: the prices for the small train from Ribes/Queralbs are way too high, especially considering that the last train leaves Queralbs at 17:40pm. I had to plan my trip around it, and it made timing somewhat awkward in what otherwise was a very nice trip.
Nuria is a magical place. The hotel was very comfortable, extra points for the beds and sheets - never slept so well in a hotel room. Having my breakfast with a view to the mountains was also not bad at all.

SpainThe room was a bit warm; I tried to turn down the heater but the knob had the numbers faded and I couldn't tell if I was increasing or decreasing the temperature. The room didn't have a mini fridge or kettle/coffee maker. However all that didn't bother me too much since I was only there for 1 night.
Comfortable rooms with nice views. It's in a beautiful location, and great for star gazing at night. The staff was nice and helpful. I was able to take my dog on the trip and the restaurant staff was very patient with him despite my dog being annoying at times. So special thanks to the gentlemen working during breakfast time!

IsraelRoom is somewhat antiquated, only one power outlet and it is used by the tv. There were USB outlets integrated in the bedlamp but they didn't work. Would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room. Considering the hotel claims it is eco-friendly, I was disappointed to find that there was nowhere to fill up my water bottles anywhere in the hotel. On site bar menu could be improved.
Located at 2000m in the heart of Vall de Núria, location is 10/10. Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet. Easy access to nearby trails. Fair price

NetherlandsSmart TV without internet. A bit weird and not up to modern standards. Room was a bit outdated. I saw some other rooms were more recently renovated but sadly ours looked like it came straight out of the 80s Breakfast missing some items Room had no way too regulate the heating, and it was too warm during the night
Amazing location, that's why we came. Nice dinner room. The breakfast was nice, but missing some options such as boiled eggs, more variety of jams and the orange juice was more like a lemonade instead of real fresh orange juice. I think the hotel can do better for what they charge.

Czech RepublicThe rooms were quite old but fine, however bathrooms were quite tiny considering all that was fitted in them. And replacing the weird bathtub with a normal shower would definitely improve things greatly.
There are not many options to choose from in this area. But we enjoyed the stay very much. The rooms were average but the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good too. Dinner was gorgeous and very rich on options and I can definitely recommend it. Both breakfast and dinner are buffets in which you can pick from whatever you like. They make steaks during the dinner and omelets for breakfast on top of what the buffet offers. For dinner a jar of water is included in the price but you also can purchase additional drinks and wines. Next to the lobby there is also a cafeteria with great hot chocolate ;), which is a good option to warm up a bit when returning from the cold weather outside.

SpainIf you're hungry from 17h to 20h, there is almost no food options, only a frozen pizza at the cafe. This was pretty absurd, because our friend had a dog with him and we couldn't sit and relax ANYWHERE since only the main restaurant is pet friendly and it is closed at this time. So we couldn't sit at the cafe with the dog, where the pizza was available, and all other areas were close. This was for sure the worst problem of our stay, we had to sit outside in the cold since we couldn't leave the dog alone in the room but we couldn't sit with the dog anywhere :(
The room was really comfortable: beds, shower, towels, bedding, bathtub and heating were great. Breakfast and dinner also had great options of food - I am allergic to sea food and I thought in one of the dinners there were too many seafood options, so I ate basically potato and vegetables 😂 but they were good!

IsraelThere are several restaurants in the hotel, all are quite bad and offer very little variety, especially when it comes to vegetarian options. There is only one water fountain that is a short walk outside of the hotels, which makes it difficult to fill up water bottles after the sun goes down. There was also very little text in English, almost everything is in Spanish, which is weird considering it is a hotel that is expect to attract tourists.
The location is stunning, the skiing was very enjoyable and every where you look the view is beautiful.
