Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesStaff “upgraded” us to a room that was not our requested bed type (king instead of doubles) as I was traveling with my sister it wasn’t a huge deal so we shared the bed. The room they gave us though was on floor one and received a lot of noise traffic from cars and passerby’s on the street, but most importantly was right by the elevator. The walls must be made of paper because anyone who got off the elevator or walked by we could hear every word. It was very hard to sleep as the room was very liud

LithuaniaYou expect more from 4 stars hotel. At the arrival the room despite the booking was not prepared for 3 persons. They fixed after we’ve applied. The ventilation in the room wasn’t working. Sound insulation might be better. The bathromm was provided with dental kit, but we missed other toiletries like vanity kits, slipperies.
Location is great, close to the beach, convienent to reach the centre by bus or by walking.

ItalyOur room could have been cleaner, but our biggest issue was bed bugs!! We have stayed in so many hotels, air bnb’s, etc. over our years of traveling and some have been better than others. We can overlook some of the uncleanliness. However, even in the worst lodgings, we have never had bed bug bites! Our first night we thought it was just mosquitos. The second night we discussed possible bed bugs, but continued to assume this nice hotel would not have bed bugs. After the third night there was no doubt it was bed bugs by the amount, patterns, and locations of the bites.
The hotel itself was nice. Convenient location and hotel restaurant 24/7. Staff was friendly.

United KingdomUnfortunately, the hot tub next to the pool didn’t work and the door to the gym and sauna/steam rooms took forever to try and open. I suggest a new lock or battery in it, because people had to leave a towel at the bottom to keep the door propped open.
When we arrived, we received a voucher for welcome drinks from reception, which was a nice surprise :) The lobby is nice a spacious with a restaurant and bar in the back, and an outside seating area. The swimming pool is a nice size, but not warm, so if you come between October - March, it will most likely be too chilly to swim in. Towels are available at the pool and inside the gym as well. The hotel room was spacious enough for 3 people (triple room) and very clean. It came with a safe, mini fridge (with 2x bottles of complimentary water) and coffee/tea making facilities. The bathroom was also very clean and comes with a toilet, bidet, bath and shower. Towels are changed when asked, so if you don’t need them changed, put a do not disturb sign outside your door. The restaurant in the hotel does some very good food and there is a large choice of drinks, including cocktails. It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach from the hotel, and there are some nice restaurants there. There are several buses that stop right outside the hotel, going towards the city centre (which takes about 20 minutes), and the closest metro (Bogatell) is about a 10 minute walk away.

FinlandHotel would need some maintenance. Card locks should be replaces as they seem end of life. Some of those are not working like reliable in elevator and gym access. It seems that room air con was switched off on whole hotel. It wasn't really hot on October, but still room air is getting bad at night without air con.
Breakfast buffet price was in line with wide range of choices. Not overpriced than many places. Room and hotel was clean and nice. Even hotel is on quiet neighborhood not on city center there are really good connections by bus and metro. Direct bus route takes to Barceloneta beach or couple stops to metro station. Also nearest beach is only 5 minutes walk away. Staff on reception was helpful when needed some services.

New ZealandThe gym had no weights and only one Smith machine which was worn and broken. The bath showed signs of rust. The shower temperature was not stable. The room decor did not match the beauty of the hotel.
The staff were friendly. I wish I had breakfast because it looked great! The pool area is enjoyable and relaxing. I like the sauna and steam room area. The surrounding streets were quiet and had a small selection of nice café/restaurants/dairies. The late check-out time is very convenient!

IrelandWalls are thin so noise of other guests can bother you at night. Decoration overall seems a bit dated in the halls and rooms. Room thermostat is nonintuitive and tricky to adjust.
Room is pretty comfortable and has the facilities you expect. Pool looks nice but it was already a bit too cold to try it out. Breakfast is nice enough, with everything you'd expect. Complementary water is a nice touch in the bedroom.

The location was great 10 mins walk to tube , 5 minutes to the beach , quieter area than town , Ramblas was a 40 minute walk along the beach, well worth it . Staff friendly , lovely room and large bathroom . Great breakfast .
