There is nothing not to like!

I loved the central location of this alburgue. The facilities were good, beds had privacy curtains, socket for charging phone and light. Sheets were provided. The place was spotlessly clean. There was a nice back garden to relax in and laundry facilities available. The detergent for the washing machine is complimentary. I highly recommend this place and will definately stay again when next in Santiago.

Locked into the top floor with ONE toilet for 13 people. Now I know what a sardine feels like. Had to run down three flights of stairs in my t-shirt and panties to find a bathroom. I’d rather not be a spectacle.

Location location location. Cathedral is a block away. This street has many shops, restaurants, The Pilgrims Office, the post office, etc. Staff is friendly and they held my luggage, TY.

Everything. A minor improvement would be to make the registration time starting from 10:00am instead of 01:00pm.

I was happy about all of the above.

It was a bit pricey, everything is charged extra, and beds are just under 2 meters which felt crammed.

Loved the location, and storage of place, friendly workers

Don’t forget to take your keycard if using the bathroom in the night😊 otherwise you have to wake up someone to let you in👍

Perfect location near the cathedral, next to the pilgrim office. Nice rooms with curtains on the beds. Each bed has his own plugs, even USB socket. Clean and nice stuff

Bathrooms could be crowded. Common room seats are uncomfortable.

Location is central and convenient for peregrinos. Staff is helpful and kind. Garden is pleasant, and it's great to dry your clothes in the sunshine.

Woman’s bathroom was on the 1st floor and featured timed showers: you have to push a button to turn on the water. The left shower’s water lasted 2 seconds before needing to push the bottom again. The right shower’s water lasted 22 seconds. This was the only hostel we stayed at with timed showers. Not a fan. We opted not to even attempt to wash our hair. If you were a different gender, you had to go to a different floor to use the bathroom; we were lucky. The larger dorm room looking out over the garden was dubbed “The Hotbox” by its assigned guests. We stayed on 4 June 2024, and that room was an oven. People sat on the floor in front of a huge fan, and kept the door open all night, despite the blindingly bright hall light. We left our room’s door and windows wide open to help them with a bit of a cross-breeze. I don’t know how they got any sleep, tho.

Fantastic location. Our 4-person room was great, with comfy bunks that included personal lights, outlets, shelves and privacy curtains. Very nice lobby; beautiful garden, decent kitchen. All very clean. The staff were exceptional.

It was quite expensive for a hostel but there was a music festival on the same weekend which contributed to that.

Excellent location near the cathedral and pilgrim office. Nice communal areas inside and outside. Good facilities in bedroom, light and plug socket and phone charging facilities beside each bed. Secure locker to store luggage.

Completely out of the control of the staff but there was a very loud snorer in my room and I struggled to sleep because of that. There seemed to be two people in the same bed when I awoke - one of which was the snorer.

    Nil

The accommodation is close to the Pilgrimage Office and the Cathedral. There is a laundromat on the corner. It is convenient to go in and out at night with a key card. Unfortunately, the toilet and bathroom are in a narrow location. The common space downstairs is spacious and there is a small outdoor garden. There is a self-service food vending machine.

My locker didn't work so I got another bed and locker. When I returned to room from my dinner someone was sleeping in my bed. I had to use the original bed which was the only one without curtains. There was a blurred glass wall near my bed that got through a lamp light. Water from the shower came out only 1 s/press so you had to press it all the time with one hand.

Hostel was very close to the cathedral, pilgrimage's office and activities. It was easy to access and had shower next to my room.

The bathrooms are very far if you are not on the right floor. There is only one bathroom on every floor and it is either female or male. So if your room is on the 1st floor you have to go to the 2nd floor every time you need a bathroom.

The location can't be better - it is 100 meters away from the Cathedral. Very clean and nice Albergue with comfortable beds and an excellent garden and common area.
