Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ItalyThe room is small and the window was on an internal small court with almost no natural light. The rooms could be better noise-proof. Some clothes hanger in the room and in the bathroom would have been appreciated. The value for money is not particularly good, but that's a general problem in Barcelona (so the hotel is overall fine).
I stayed 4 nights in this hotel during a business trip. The hotel was chosen because convenient with respect to the location of my work commitments and because of cost considerations. The hotel served its function: bed and pillows were comfortable and I particularly appreciated the cleanliness of room and bathroom. Wi-Fi works well. The breakfast area is really enjoyable with a nice terrace too. Breakfast is rich and good. Staff is super kind and collaborative, definitely a plus for the hotel. They were truly supportive when our flight was cancelled and we had to find another accommodation for the night: this support is not so obvious to get. The hotel is located 5 minutes far from the metro station, 10 from the shuttle from the airport and close to many bus lines heading to the city centre. Raval is at 25 minutes walking.

good location - a km and few more mtrs from city center. but, the main important location - the musical water fountain - the central market - the city museum are just few meters away. few good restaurants just outside the hotel. professional staff. excellent kitchen facilities and round the clock tea/coffee, mineralised water. excellent seating spaces. excellent location.

We have stayed only for 1 night, but we enjoyed our stay a lot. Location was very good, because it was close to bus station from were you easily reach airport. The neighborhood was also quiet. The hotel itself was modern, the room was clean and comfortable. There is a bar open during a day where you can take free coffee and tea, and nice space/terrace to rest (very nice touch that I like very much). Also, many more small details about design you will definitely like.

FranceThe room I stayed was definitely more basic than chic and I found the price relatively high for the quality of the hotel but it could be that it was due to the specific dates I was staying there, as many events were going on in Barcelona, including the F1 grand prix.
The location of the hotel is very convenient if like me you have to go to the Barcelona fair. It is in a nice neighbourhood not far from there, in a road quieter than the main "gran via" and close to many restaurants and bars. The terrace bar at the first floor is very nice.
