Only the staff can turn your room lights on and off which is odd and sometimes you want it dark and they’re on. I know the pool was closed, but then when I arrived, the receptionist tried to overcharge me and then was like, “money doesn’t matter, you’re on holiday.” It’s not nice to feel cheated when you’ve just arrived somewhere especially when you’re already paying a little extra. The bathroom flooded. Social aspect was lacking. They had a bar crawl that promised drinking games. We all waited around bored and no games occurred.

Nice rooftop to sunbathe on, I had the balcony in my 8 person room that’s pictured here too. You could make the room dark with the curtains. I liked my bed and the lockers were a good size - you don’t need a padlock - your card opens and locks it. Love that. The staff tried their best to help me when my shampoo and conditioner went missing (definitely stolen). Other than the one male receptionist, the rest of the staff were warm and friendly. The reception itself is nice. Hotel quality.

Bathrooms need fans. It got so hot in the bathrooms and on your level when people were showering.

Showers and toilets need to be better cleaned and also in higher frequency. For the price they charge, quite odd you have to pay extra for towels and toiletries. Let’s be honest. Also, they shut off air conditioning during the day making it impossible to relax.

Location and the team. The team are very welcoming, they organize good partires and the open bar pre party is quite fun.

However, I think it's inconvenient if you take a six-bed room because it's still too many people for one bathroom and, especially in the morning, it's very crowded and noisy precisely because of that. I think a four-bed room is still a better option. The breakfast is average, maybe it would be good if there was a bigger selection of food, but it's not bad either.

The hostel is interesting and in a good location (Casa Batlio and Casa Mila are just a few minutes away, Sagrada Familia is a 30-minute walk away, it takes the same amount of time to get to the center, the Gothic quarter, and it takes about 45 minutes to walk to the sea). The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and a big plus is that the lockers are automatically locked with a card (you don't need to carry your own padlock).

The hostel organizes daily drink events outside. But yesterday, even though I mentioned that I should take my umbrella, by the time I went to the ground floor again, they had already left. Also, although I went to the Ottozuts nightclub as previously indicated, there was nobody from the hostel there. They changed the plans at the last minute and never shared this last-minute change on the WhatsApp page. When I asked where they were, they didn’t respond or share the current location with me. I was very angry about it. An organization shouldn't be so disorganized.

The workers of the hostel showed maximum effort in helping me whenever I needed it. Making new friends made me feel pleased. Thanks for providing a nice environment for me.

They don’t give you towels and there’s no paper to dry your hand in the restroom.

The hostel itself was amazing the staff was super friendly and accommodating, a special thanks to Sam for providing fun nights out and making sure everyone was having a great night. The facility itself was great they just need privacy curtains, besides that I have no other complaints.

the lights in the hostel rooms are central controlled by the reciption. They shut them off around 11 pm which is not optimal if people want to sleep early

Didn’t love that the lights were mandated to stay on until 11pm. Also the music they blast was about two notches too loud, couldn’t even hear myself think let alone have a conversation. Particularly during karaoke yikes.

Weird policies. Lights have to stay on with no way to turn them off until 11pm which felt really late one night when everyone was in the room and wanted to sleep and we asked and they still said no. Also staff were a little rude. Some were really nice.

Bit hard to sleep since I chose the bed closer to the door and the light from the hallway burnt my eyes.

Very welcoming and great for meeting if you're socially inclined. Lot's of stuff to do if you're bored.

bedroom very poorly aired, no facility to open a window, floor space extremely cramped around bunk beds making packing and unpacking difficult, room lighting also poor, no chair, table, mirror in room. only 2 showers on the floor - unisex.
