Location is in an area undergoing major gentrification. The approach to the hotel through old industrial sites and derelict building sites is quite disconcerting though the hotel itself is situated in a beautiful promenade area. Access to the nearest Metro is also a bit disconcerting as the neighbourhood is not exactly tourist friendly. However, the Metro service is regular and efficient.

Beautiful modern hotel with good facilities and an attractive outlook over the yacht marina. Easy access via the metro to Barcelona and main attractions just a 20-minute journey. Excellent parking facilities adjacent to the hotel and very helpful and friendly staff.

There was no air in the rooms as you couldn’t open a window and the lowest temperature that you could set was 21 degrees so at night it was too warm and no air

Spa access had to be pre booked with 1 hour slots , lounge area and outside dining area were not the most welcoming, lunch time service had the staff under pressure and not very pleasant attitudes

The pool was very small for the amount of people and the bar at the restaurant was understaffed and took ages to get served, especially if you order any food

Faultless stay, I booked the double privilege room which was absolutely perfect and had an amazing view of the sea and harbour. The room was spotless and spacious, including extra little things like a Nespresso coffee machine and also Bluetooth speakers built into the room. Being my boyfriend’s birthday present, I’d requested for balloons and a bottle of Cava which were in the room ready for when we arrived. The location of the hotel is ideal, only 20 minutes from Barcelona itself but further away enough to escape from the hustle and bustle. We used the Uber app which made it easy getting to and from here. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned every day (unless we put the card on the door). The rooftop bar was great with plenty of seating / day beds. The view is absolutely stunning. We spent one whole day up here drinking cocktails and chilling after site seeing in Barcelona the day before. We also decided to have breakfast every day here, a continental buffet with a nice selection of food to choose from. Overall this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and will definitely be coming back! Thank you Hotel Marina Badalona☺️

The train can be distracting if a light sleeper.

Clean. New. Not a big tourist area. Great to walk along the beaches. More relaxed than Barcelona. Plenty of transportation options. Local focus on fitness. Food at the hotel was great. Roof top pool and bar were perfect. Staff very helpful!

Maybe for some people, a little bit away from Badalona Centre. For us , we like it to walk some minutes.

- noise insulation is so so. We were on the 9th floor, and every 2 rooms are kind of ‘coupled’ together, namely 1 thin door (fixed, can’t open) in between 2 rooms. And I can hear my neighbours’ laugh and talk. Luckily our neighbours are relatively quiet.

Super clean and well-equipped hotels. Shower and bed are very comfortable. On the top floor, there is a fancy outdoor swimming pool and bar, which are great for summer. Around 15mins walking to the train/metro station, half hour to the Barcelona centre. Staff is very friendly. Parking entrance is just next to the hotel door, very convenient and clean.

We could have used more hooks or a rack for towels in the bathroom. And som more space in the wardrobe.

The Stunning viev, the nice room and all about the hotel. The service from the staff was exelent. And the food in the restaurant fantastic. We will comeback back for sure.
