All restaurants were closed that we had to buy some groceries in a supermarket. They let us use kitchen appliances that we were able to have dinner there.

The hosts are such kind and friendly people who can't do enough for you (we planned our return journey just so that we could stay here again). The hotel and rooms are spotless, breakfast is tasty and the views are incredible. We spent most of our time in the communal living room as the atmosphere is like home from home and we can't wait to return.

You must have a car to stay here (we did) as walking to the beaches or Begur is a bit of a hike.

There wasn't anything at all to dislike.

The hosts were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for us. They gave us lots of local information and a map to help us find places. They gave us use of a shared kitchen with our own shelf in the fridge, microwave and kettle which was very handy. Our room was lovely, traditionally Spanish and with our own terrace with a fabulous view overlooking the coast. We opted for breakfast each day on the hotel terrace with a sweet and savoury option, this was fantastic value for money. We will definitely return and it was very hard to leave!

The view from the balcony overlooking the local area and to the sea is just great!! The owners are super friendly and helpfull. Breakfast rooting from Spanish cuisine is superb.

Our stay at the Sa Barraca was absolutely wonderful! The hosts are a married couple and are very welcoming and lovely. We had booked a room with a seaside-view and were blown away by the panoramic view over the ocean. The room was very clean and the hosts were always happy to help. The breakfast is freshly made and totally worth it. The hotel is at a very good location, with the ocean and supermarkets being nearby.

Wow, not sure where to start. Juan greeted us at the entrance and as soon as you step in to the building you appreciate the view. The hosts were very attentive and helpful at all times, providing lots of information on local restaurants, where to park, walks and towns. Breakfast was fabulous on the terrace and enough to keep us going all day. We drove in to Begur each evening which is straight forward and no more than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this rustic accommodation with fabulous views.

The staff were the loveliest people, making me feel so welcomed and appreciated. The bedroom was perfect size and had the most gorgeous view from the huge balcony. The location was a perfect middle between the beach and city.

the owners are very welcome and have us a lot of great suggestions for restaurants and things to do around Begur and Costa brava. The room is very basic but it has all the amenities. The highlight of the hotel are the private balconies of the rooms: the view is just breathtaking. Breakfast is homemade and delicious

Begur is a wonderful town but you'll need a car to get there.

Our room had a balcony with a smashing sea view and birds flitting across the trees outside. The breakfasts are superb and served on a terrace in good weather. The hosts are exceptionally kind. Highly recommended!
