It was absolutely fantastic. As we are pilgrims on the Camino del Norte this was pilgrims' heaven. We even got an upgrade and couldn't believe it. Thank you so much. We are very grateful and enjoyed our stay very much.

Not one thing.

Could we give this property an 11? As you pass through Muros de Nalon you may wonder if the extra Camino miles are worth it. The answer is YES. There is a shortcut to shave miles off your next day. We had our favorite meal & room here & felt pampered. We were able to eat early & enjoy wine in the gardens looking out to the sea. The owner was wonderful.

A lovely hotel a short walk from the beach in beautiful surroundings. The staff were exceptional, we were made to feel at home immediately. Room was comfortable with a balcony from which we watched a spectacular sunset. Restaurant was quick and great value. With some tasty traditional cooking.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our host was very knowledgeable about the region and made us want to discover more of Asturias. Our room was comfortable and the bathtub had jets that worked (sometimes not always the case in other places). The breakfast was excellent and copious with many local products and eggs (!). The beach is close by and it was so clean. This is also a great place to stay if you’re traveling with children since there is a lot of fun play equipment and even a trampoline in the garden.

Rochiello is a great host. The rooms and location fantastic and loved the outdoor space and jacuzzi bath :) loved the warm welcome for our Celtic Spanish family.

The location is stunning. The staff was very professional yet warm and personable . The atmosphere within the hotel was beautiful with many nice decorative touches. The beach is a short, scenic walk away and very pretty. Delicious food and excellent service at the restaurant, for dinner and table-service breakfast. This was one of my most absolute favorite places on the Camino del Norte. Truly exceptional!

The rural location is quiet and peaceful. A great place to relax. Rooms are large, comfortable, and very clean. There is a friendly, homely atmosphere in the hotel, with the owner giving great personal attention to his guests. Breakfast is excellent. For those wishing to dine in the hotel in the evening, there is a good, varied menu. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. We had a large deck which was very nice for relaxing and enjoying sunsets. The owner was very helpful with great suggestions on local walks and activities. The meals were excellent, and we also enjoyed the best gin & tonics in Europe!!!

Hotel located pretty much at end of road so not much traffic, pretty quiet and secluded. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. Had some fun & engaging conversations with the owner, Roger, who is very knowledgeable of local offerings and history. Easy/short drive to Cudillero or Salinas for dinner, although very much enjoyed dinner (carpaccio de bacalao) at the hotel on one of the nights. Prepaid for breakfast, great variety; especially enjoyed the arroz on leche, yogurt, and café con leche.

Quiet location on the edge of the village just above the beach. Lovely walking path through the woods down to the beautiful beach. Friendly and helpful staff! The family suite was great and nicely furnished. And the hotel has its own large garden.

A great place - away from the town, quiet, peaceful, nature, close to the wonderful seaside. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The host is very hospitable and caring. The dinner was incredibly delicious, as was the wine. I am very grateful for the hospitality and good rest.

Absolutely nothing

This hotel is nothing short of a hidden treasure, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all. The hotel itself is a marvel of design, exuding beauty and comfort in equal measure. However, the true highlight of our stay was the owner, Rogelio. Our flight to Asturias arrived late, causing us to return to the airport to collect our rental car the next day. Rogelio graciously offered to drive us to the airport as he also had something to do in the town. But the journey didn’t end there. He took us on an impromptu tour of the town, sharing fascinating insights about local architecture and the rich history of Asturias. This personal touch added a layer of depth to our understanding of the area, enhancing our overall experience. Rogelio’s dedication to ensuring we had the best possible experience in Asturias was truly remarkable. His passion for his hometown was infectious and added a unique dimension to our trip. The culinary offerings at the hotel deserve a special mention. The food was nothing short of spectacular, with the breakfast standing out as a particular highlight. The quality and taste surpassed all the cafes we had visited before. In conclusion, this hotel offers not just a place to stay, but a complete cultural immersion, thanks to the efforts of Rogelio. It’s a place where comfort, history, and gastronomy blend seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what Asturias has to offer.

The owner was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was big and tidy with two showers and lots of storage. The food was really fantastic though - we even had a off-menu request that the chef made that was GREAT. Still dreaming about the apple tarte!
