We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

HungaryThe bathrooms were far from the room, only reachable by going up some stairs, and the woman's bathroom was in two rooms, so you had to go to the other room to wash hands, using again some stairs... It was not comfotable to wake up in the night and do these stuff...
Modern and newly made rooms and bathrooms. It had everything for a good night sleep. The host lady was nice. It was in a very good location, close to the center.

SpainNot a dislike, just two suggestions. It would have been helpful to have had a code for the outside door on arrival. We had to make a phone call to get into the reception. Also It would have been handy to have had paper towels by the sinks, as there was no way to dry our hands, if we didn't take our towel.
An excellent location in the centre of La Laguna with easy connection to buses and the Tranvia. We knew the toilet/ bathroom facilities were shared. This wasn't a problem during our stay. There were several cubilcles. Sinks were separate from the toliet/showers, with a hairdryer available. . The bedding and towels were lovely. The personnel/owners were really helpful and friendly. There was an electic kettle, microwave and some cups/ glasses/ plates available to use on the roof terrace, with a seating area. All in all a great place to stay & good value. We will be back! Thank you Room 27!!

GermanyThe toilets and showers for women are separate from sinks, and there are no hangings/shelves to put your things. The rooms are not much sound proofed.
The hostel is a newly renovated guest house, the room for 3 was big and nicely furnished. The staff is super kind and the location is very central. They provide a small room with microwave, small fridge, cups and few things for eating.

ItalyThe rooms are arranged around a large courtyard, the windows and doors frames are not great, so you can hear a lot when people pass in the corridor. Even though the establishment writes everywhere to be careful about silence, (some) customers don't care - this will obviously might change from time to time. The shared women's bathrooms (very clean - men's toilet could be cleaned more often... we only stayed 1 night, so maybe it was a coincidence - but it's always better to give this feedback ;) are inconvenient because the showers and toilets are in one room, and the sinks in another room, at the bottom of the stairs. The logistics of personal "cleaning" for women are therefore a bit inconvenient (but nothing dramatic). We have stayed in several hostels and campsites (we are a couple in our 40s) - even aesthetically less beautiful than this one, at least the soundproofing could be improved (the structure is new). For us the quality/price ratio was not right. Even if it is located in a super central area and it's all "sparkling new", the shortcomings just described detract from the price at which the rooms are currently sold.
The structure is really in a convenient location, close to the pedestrian area of the centre. This is perfect for finding excellent local restaurants, mini supermarkets, visiting the center with its churches and courtyards of noble houses. It is only a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport - which is why we stayed 1 night as we had a 7am flight. The staff are delightful, kind and helpful.
