There was nothing we didn’t like.

Location is excellent - 1 minute walk to the Pg de Gràcia train station - with a direct line to the airport (the fare is €5), and Casa Batlló. In fact many of the important sites are within walking distance. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. If I’m allowed to recommend it - don’t miss the Cerveseria Catalana, you’ll have to queue for ten minutes or so, but believe me, it’s worth the wait. Back at the hotel, even though it overlooked the very busy Carrer d’Aragó, our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Fabulous quirky hotel with lots of personality. Very easy to get to by train and it's in a great location. Everything is in walking distance. We were delighted to be offered a free upgrade from the very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect with lots to choose from. The rooftop bar was a nice place for a night cap after a busy day. It was the staff and the little touches that really made our stay special. We came home one evening to find a bowl of hand made sweets and cookies left by the staff. I'd definitely recommend a stay at Room Mate Anna.

We got room with a balcony and enjoyed Christmas lights on Casa Batilo across the street. On check-in, Ruth greeting us. She was extremely helpful. The bad and pillows were so comfortable. Very clean room.

There was a smell coming from the shower. I told them and they called maintenance but the smell returned. They were apologetic and left me sweets which was nice but the smell was terrible.

The staff and customer service was exceptional. The bed was comfortable. There was a kettle in the room. Upon arrival there was a complimentary bottle of water. The water pressure was great. There was a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The location was fantastic with shopping and Casa Batllo right there, and a 15 to 20 minute walk to old town.

No way of opening windows which is a personal preference. The lights in the room are plentiful but the colours could be brighter. The upstairs corridors are too dark to see clearly.

The staff, the lovely furnishings in the little room, the location are all excellent. The place is perfect for one or maybe two for a few nights. Nice and friendly greetings.
