The Japanese toilet was quite difficult to work. The flexi hose for the shower was very dirty with soap scum and the cable behind the toilet was dirty and rusty. Also there were bath towels but no hand towels. It also wasn’t clear that the parking was separate and has to be paid for - we paid an extra €15 for early check-in to the hotel as we understood that doing so would allow us to park from the earlier time even though we didn’t need access to the room early. However, the parking was completely separate, so we didn’t need to pay the extra €15 at all, so that was annoying.

Great Location, loved the big comfortable bed, easy to access, good instructions so easy to find.

Apart from the fact that there was no breakfast option, this is one of those hotels which is “remotely operated”, meaning that everything is done by messaging- you never meet the owners. This is fine if everything runs 100% smooth but when we arrived there were no towels in the room. We got them delivered eventually but in a conventional hotel, a quick word with reception and you get your towels. However, this is a minor gripe.

Great, central location, right in the heart of Alicante and 10 min walk to beach. A very modern room with lots of tech, including a Japanese toilet - we were particularly amused by the “buttock wash” option, along with the accompanying blow dry!!! Also, the sound insulation is fantastic - we had a room that opened onto the very busy “La Rambla” but couldn’t hear anything with the balcony door closed.

If you want to book a stay here, you need to know that you will probably not sleep really well due to the noise from other guests. You can hear literally EVERYTHING that is happening in the other rooms. There were only thin curtains, so we could “almost” see to the room of other guests and they could too, which was really uncomfortable. The rooms need dark curtains.

The room was really clean. Comfortable. The hotel staff responded to our calls and gave us solutions even in late hours.

Lift was very small. No staff member on reception for two days therefore we were not able to purchase our vouchers for breakfast, so that was frustrating. Especially as the receptionist was always there for the other hotel opposite desk.

One lift for about 90 rooms and service, too slow. Person at reception, when present, was rude. Access to the room was easier with the code than via the app.

Upon arrival, we noticed some hairs around the room as well as some marks on the walls and shower. There was also no electricity, so we couldn't benefit from the WiFi, nor the toilet (which required electricity to flush). There was only one blanket, despite there being two single beds. However, someone was able to come clean and fix everything within 20min. It took about 30-40min to clean the room again, but once that was done, the rest of the stay was enjoyable.

The location is fantastic, as it's walking distance to the beach and relatively close to the main station. I really enjoyed the smart mirror which offered bluetooth connectivity. The bed was quite comfortable. The balcony had a decent view of the street and a peek of the hill. The communication via WhatsApp was quite responsive and helpful.
