Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe hotel is clean but the facilities are very limited . There is no bar or lounge . The breakfast room is very crowded with tables . It was not busy thankfully when we were there . The tables are too close together and it's very difficult to move between the tables to get to the buffer breakfast. The breakfast was just about adequate . If it is not part of your room deal I wouldn't bother. The choice of food is very limited . The choice of bread was crusty rolls , no sliced bread . A few cold meats and 2 cheeses. Hot food was bacon, egg and sausages. Pastries were nice . No churros or pancakes. Orange juice or water . Coffee was not bad .
The hotel location is perfect for plaza mayor and various other squares. The big city bus tour has a stop on the next street to the hotel. You are definitely paying a premium rate for the location of this hotel. Across the road is the exclusive Four Seasons hotel and the JW Marriot hotel is right beside this hotel. The very expensive Mall is home to Prada , Chanel , Luis Vuitton to name but a few. There are some beautiful cafes nearby . The hotel was basic but very clean.

Excellent location and well appointed hotel. Our request for a larger room was considered and we were able to change rooms. The beds were comfortable . There is 24 hour reception . The breakfast is very good and wholesome. We enjoyed a good warm and cold spread everyday. Many resturants , tapas places nearby. The main square Sol was a 5 minutes walk
