Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe shower temperature was a little difficult to get right. The TV signal wasn’t good on the few English-speaking channels there were.
The property was central, close to Príncipe Pio railway station. We had a lovely view of the Palacio Real from our upgraded room. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and kept our suitcase for us during the day we checked out as we had a late flight. The breakfast was excellent, a buffet with lots of choice.

It was a great experience! The hotel staff (reception, room service and breakfast) was kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. The location is ideal, a short walk away from Plaza de España and the Gran Vía, with lots of public transportation options nearby, making it easy to access the city center. The breakfast is great, with fruits, hot/cold drinks and a good choice of bread and pastries. The rooms were big, clean, the beds were comfortable and no noise was heard from the corridor/other rooms. Ours had an amazing view of the Palacio Real de Madrid, which was definitely a plus. For our last day, the hotel stored our luggage, allowing us to enjoy our last day in Madrid.

RomaniaIt was impossible for us to keep the water temperature at the shower: it went too hot or too cold without touching it. Also you had to be very careful when closing the water for flexible shower, otherwise it would switch to the fixed one (the faucet was probably broken). Although there was a glass in front of the bathtub in order to prevent water being splashed, it was almost impossible not to have water on the floor and even if you were extra cautious, the bathtub isolation started to broke and the water got on the floor eventually - the bath needs refurbishment! The pillow (which was like a tube of approx. 20 x 80 cm) was way too soft and very uncomfortable (I know this depends on every person's taste). And the decorative ones were too hard. Would have been nice to have an extra pillow with different hardness in the room. Even if the room had a good sound isolation, it was facing a very busy street and there was noise, but fortunately, there was less traffic at night.
Nice, modern, clean hotel with elevator, wi-fi, very friendly and helpful stuff, 24-hour front desk. Good location, near to the Royal Palace, and in a walking distance to Gran Via, close to metro station. Room with A/C, tv, fridge, safe, electric kettle, free wi-fi. Good continental breakfast (loved the croissants and the other pastries provided), good coffee, nice pancakes machine.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The highlight of my stay was definitely the room. Located on a high floor, it offered a serene courtside view, ensuring a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, which I really appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing me with some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while. The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped, adding to the overall comfort of the room.

Really enjoyed me stay here. The staff were fab, so helpful and friendly. the gentleman at the door still learning English as he said but in my opinion spoke very adequate English with a smile, very polite and helpful. The guys at the desk, always had a smile and so friendly and helpful. Location so near everything, near the palace and park if one wishes to explore. Close to shopping. Room extremely comfortable! Breakfast on our last morning at 14e pp , was worth it, a great breakfast overall a 5* experience.
