Location was remote and views great , just what we required , as we were travelling in group of 6 on motorcycles , the owners could not do enough for us , food was top quality and rooms were good . as it is 1400 meters above sea level it gets cool of an evening and the owners but the fire on for us , top marks would recommend this place , buy bare in mind it is remote and would not suit everyone , but for us fantastic value for moneyand a Big thank you to the owners ,

These hosts really deserve the business. Nothing is too much trouble. We felt very welcome and anything we asked for was attended to. You cannot help but relax in this charming cottage style hotel. In very picturesque setting. good for walking, we were travelling on motorbike. Evening meals cooked at hotel we found very enjoyable. Bedrooms very comfortable.

It so special. Everything. So lovely people, tasty food and a clean room. It’s comfortable and you feel welcome from the first step into the house. The surrounding is similar to the dolomites and maybe to the moon. Then there is this colourful lighted and warm place. We will come again. Big hug, Pinja <3

A better reading light by the bed would be appreciated, also a chair for the desk/ table.

This place is nicely out of the way, which always suits us. The welcome was good, and the downstairs lounge area is spacious and comfortable. The room was small but adequate, likewise the bathroom. We had pre booked dinner, which was good but rather rich for me, though my husband rated it the best meal so far this holiday. It was good value. Breakfast was also good.

Our bikes were stored outside (though it was a very secure location). Not the fault of the owners, but we were woken up a fair bit by somebody snoring in another room as sound transmitted easily (but it's an old house, which has great charm, so not that surprising). Wifi was not that strong and there was no cell coverage for us there. There were also no hiking trails from the location, most started 2.5km further up the road. Dinner was served at 9pm and there were not a lot of other options close by.

Given the rating of this hotel we thought that it would be absolutely amazing. The hosts were very welcoming and there was very good common spaces. The bed and the room were very comfortable. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. So we felt it was certainly very good, but not amazing.

Nothing, everything was brilliant.

Amazing location, close to lots of walks, viewpoints and towns. The hotel is beautiful and really comfortable. The rooms have plenty of space, hot and powerful showers, and great views (we saw ibex and various birds from our window). Great spots nearby for bear/wildlife watching. It's a really relaxing place to stay, and lots to see. The owners are lovely and make you feel at home. They offer dinners in the evenings, Rosa makes something different every night - everything was delicious. Super breakfast too. We would happily have stayed a lot longer and want to go back.

We had an incredible stay at this charming family-run accommodation nestled in the heart of the mountains. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts made us feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was the mouthwatering home-cooked dinner and breakfast, which were both absolutely delicious. The serene surroundings and breathtaking views added to the overall experience. Rosa and Angel are lovely and very friendly. Location in beautiful next to some mountains. You can hear the river and cow bells when you go outside. Our room Rustico had exactly the rustic charm we were looking after and a nice view to the mountain. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was good as well. Husky dogs were really cute and well-behaving.

There was nothing to dislike.

Out of 12 hotels we visited on a two week cycling tour, this was by far the best stay. Angel and Rosa were so hospitable and welcoming us into "their home". They provided space in the garden for our bikes. It is a very charming, rural, rustical hotel, but very comfortable and clean. It has a lovely setting in the mountains. The dinner was also our best meal of the whole tour (much better than the 4 star hotels/restaurants we visited too). Breakfast was likewise, splendid.

There was nothing we didn’t like, it was perfect 🤩

We really enjoyed meeting Rosa and her husband, they were very welcoming and kind to us. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with a very genuine and authentic feeling. We enjoyed the breakfast. It would have been even better if there had been something freshly cooked as well, such as eggs or something similar. If we are in the area again we would lovely to stay again 🙂

Gem hiding up a single track in the mountains. Evening meal was fabulous and excellent value. Great sights of wild deer and so quiet. No noise or hassle just relax.

No big negatives but our room was a bit outdated (could use some tlc) and we could hear everything from the other rooms.

We loved the warm welcome, central room with nightly fire in the hearth, outstanding breakfast and dinner, affordable and lovely wines and the very welcoming and helpful hosts. We woke up to see chamois on the mountain on our first morning. Pola the Somiedo is a beautiful half hour drive away.

The building is beautifully and the decor wonderfully quirky. The hosts were so attentive and kind. The evening meals were absolutely delicious and such good value. In Scotland you couldn’t even get one course for the the price they charged for three! Breakfast was amazing. The setting of the property is ridiculously stunning. Highlight of our trip around Spain for sure!

Nothing really - all good - would come back.

A wonderful location off the beaten track in beautiful surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The old building is nicely renovated and there are plenty of comfortable sitting areas both inside and out - in the garden and down near the river. Breakfast was very good and definitely recommend having the 3-course evening meal which was delicious (only €15), as was the wine. Plenty of parking.
