We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

A lovely hotel right on the beach with a beach view. The only downside was that nobody told me it was Spanish celebration week and the loud disco/rave literally outside from 12 to 5am meant I had absolutely no sleep. I blame booking.com for this as all those vehemently complaining were in the same boat. But I would return on other dates

SpainWe liked everything - this is just a tip! Breakfast area could do with being larger, it was congested at times and a larger/ or faster toaster needed as queues quickly formed.
Welcome by receptionists was warm and friendly. Cleanliness throughout the hotel and all its facilities. The fabulous location and views. The calming atmosphere and screenshots in the dining area. Central location for shopping, eating, drinking and the twice weekly market. Direct access to the beach.

United KingdomNoise from adjoining rooms. Toilets flushing conversations that could be heard. Noise from the adjoining room showers was hurrendous. Sound proofing non existent..!! So much that we could hear the couple next door having sex when we returned from breakfast at 10.30am. Very unpleasant. Thankfully we was leaving that day. Also aircon kept failing. Was not informed when I booked that the hotel was under renovation, I should have been informed of this when you sold me the room. This would have changed my decision to book. An apology on a piece of paper on the wall on my arrival is not an acceptable notification. We paid £134 a night for a superior room. In previous years my stays at the Polamar have been wonderful. I have been visiting my family in Santa Pola for over 50 years. Sadly this time I was disappointed.
Staff were really lovely. Location perfect. Fantastic breakfast. Superb views. Very polite workmen.
