In the weekends there's a lot of noise in the night from the street when people are walking home from being out

A nice little room with a spanish balcony. The bed was nice and firm, the bathroom a good size. The staff would be present most of the Day, and they are very helpfull.

The rooms balcony overlooked the main road so if you’re a light sleeper you may get woken up by noisy revellers or morning traffic.

Location in the old town and near everything. Easy to get back to and find . Really helpful and cheerful staff. Complimentary Tea and coffee point with cake at all hours was a nice touch.

I was there on a Friday, and it was a little noisy till late night as the balcony was towards the square. The bed could be a little more comfortable.

Great location, the room and bathroom looks renovated, and it was very clean. Very friendly staff, they helped me with suggestions in the city and surroundings.

The bed was more like a cot mattress. I was in slight pain all night sleeping there. One pillow per person and it was flat (typical of the region). Ok towels. No breakfast which was ok. All the reviews complimented that it has free coffee, but isn’t that typical of a 3 or 4 star hotel ? Why was this a big deal? The location and staff made up for it, but I did have to get up to take aspirin to deal with the shoulder and hip pain (I’m 50), from sleeping on that “mattress”. Amazon offers a memory foam bed for $150, and it’s ten times more comfortable. My teenage son was okay with the bed but admits it was the low of all the hotels we had in Spain. It was a little loud but I knew that going in. Honestly, I didn’t like that this was the only hotel that had a 11 am checkout (but the check in was at 2, so that was good). Seeing how it wasn’t quiet enough to sleep till till almost 2 am, I think check out could be 12, in line with all the hotels we went to in Spain. The location was phenomenal and makes up for a lot, but not the pain of the bed. This is a sorely needed investment. At the price we pay, we expected a mattress that was decent. Very clean, good quality comforter!

Definitely don’t hesitate to stay here. Lovely accommodation central to exploring the old and new San Sebastion. The tea/coffee station was a great addition. Kind and helpful staff.

The beds were a little hard and became uncomfortable towards the end of our stay.

Location was good very central, could be a little noisy after midnight but not every night. The room was clean and tidy with good facilities.

Was it worth 160€ per night for two people that we paid? I'm not sure. However, when we booked our JUne stay in January (!), there were not many options in San Sebastian already...

The front desk is only open from 9am-9pm. If you arrive before then, you'll have to wait in the plaza until they open up. Just be aware of that and you'll be fine. :)

Friendly staff. View from my room was great. Walking distance to restaurants and main attractions. Clean room, nice environment, and free Nespresso coffee and/or tea available. Plates and silverware are provided as well. Exceeded my expectations.

The room had a fridge, hair-dryer, glasses and plates, safetybox and we had access to microwave Owen and free coffee/tea. (very good). Good location and nice staff, English spoken. And a small balcony. Small rooms but you already knows that and it was well planned rooms with small chairs.

The main reason I’m not giving this pension the highest rating is due to the noise. The pension is situated at a rather loud square, and also from inside you could hear the doors banging and people getting coffee in the hall. Luckily we brought earplugs so it wasn’t a big issue, but just good to take into account.

Simple but clean, bright room with a good size bed. I liked the coffee corner in the hall. The staff was so nice and helpful as well. The cute little balcony with evening sun was lovely. And the location was perfect, walking distance to everything.

Coffee machine in the common area is a bit noisy and echo throughout the corridors to the rooms. But they have nice FREE coffees though. cant complain!

Towels were old and rough and could do with replacing.

Lovely room on second floor overlooking a pleasant street. There is a lift. It could get noisy at night but the windows and balcony door seemed to keep it pretty quiet inside. Great shower. Nespresso pods and coffee machine are available. Great location in the Old Town and easy to walk everywhere. Friendly staff.

The only thing that was a hassle was the parking arrangement. It happened to be a public holiday so the man who normally would do the ticket exchange was not there. Luckily the girl at reception walked us over to the car park again and after a few phone calls did it for us.

Clean modern. Coffee machine and plenty of tea were provided in a common area. Lift was a bonus with luggage. The room had everything you needed. The easy walk up to Mt Urgall was spectacular.
