I though the room would be a little bigger, like the one in the photo but it was quite small and my bags had to go under the bed, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to move around to the room to go to the bathroom.

For us, it was very small. It was as described in website, but very little room to move. However fine for 3 nights.

I never expected a Pension to be this nice with a private room and bath. The location was excellent, in walking distance to el casco viejo. Beyond our expectations.

We were a family of two plus an 8 year old child. The room was clearly very small for this arrangement. The single bed was blocking the door when we opened the door. We moved it a little, but then it blocked the wardrobe. So we didn't use the wardrobe. With just a chair in a corner, we put clothes on the floor or on the bed or on the luggage. It was ok for two nights, but it would have been hard for a longer stay. All in all, we felt it was not good value for the 180 euro/night.

Great location, very easy check-in and communication with the staff, elevator. Spacious bathroom, very clean. There is a coffee and tea station in the corridor, also with a microwave. Good bedding and mattress, we slept very well. Two supermarkets in the same block. The parking situation was as described in the previous reviews - the Okendo underground garage is easily accessible, the entrances about 100 m away. The fee is 29,50 per 24 h and we got a discount of 2,50 from the hotel reception.

Nowhere to put stuff in the bathroom. A shelf would have been handy.

The entrance to the building is cool. The guy on Reception was lovely. The bedrooms are very nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Good size bathroom. I loved the coffee area.

To be honest, I can't really think of anything negative to say.

As the hotel didn't provide breakfast, I ate out at a local cafe and a cake shop. By the way, you must try the delicious speciality: 'Basque Cheesecake'. The receptionist, I met on my arrival, was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name. The other staff also seemed friendly, but I didn't need to talk to them too so much. I was also allowed to keep my luggage at the hotel on the final day before leaving the city, which was very helpful. The hotel does provide an excellent 'Lavazza' coffee making machine, for all guests to use, which was a nice touch. There are too many excellent bars and cafes to recommend, so just go out and explore! Of course, you must eat 'Pintxos' while you are in San Sebastian. I also heard that there are some excellent Cider Houses outside the city, which unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit. Finally, there is an excellent indoor food market very close to the hotel, which also has a fairly large 'LIDL Supermarket'. Even if you don't buy anything in the food market, it's an excellent place to 'soak up' the atmosphere.
