This is of no fault of the Pension, but the location is partly on the plaza so there can be some noise if your room faces the plaza. We enjoyed watching and being a part of the towns activities which were plentiful on the weekend, so this was not a problem for us. The windows are incredibly tight so most is blocked out and it didn't bother us on the Saturday night we stayed. But if you require absolute silence you may want to request a room not facing the plaza on the weekend. Otherwise, it was extremely peaceful and relaxing.

Very clean, traditionally appointed, and well run Pension. We stayed for about 5 nights. The location is right on a plaza on the edge of the Casco Viejo so perfectly located. The town had live music and art activities for kids on the weekend and that was enjoyable. Our room had a small view of the plaza and the ocean, with a balcony and 2 chairs to watch the people through the trees. The manager was very sweet and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved everything about the property

Sparkling clean and extremely comfortable, Teresa went out of her way to make sure that I had a great experience. The room was very quiet and in the best part of the old town, hopefully I will get back there next year!

Perfect location on a popular square right on the edge of Old Town. The room was large, bright and spacious with three big windows and blackout blinders so it stayed dark in the morning! The bed was very comfortable and the room included a desk, two chairs and a view of the sea. Teresa was kind and attentive as was her staff. Would definitely return to this exact pension again. .

The room was a little warm. Opening the balcony doors helped but that made it a little noisy in the daytime.

The pension was extremely well located, very close to the old town. Access via an old fashioned lift which was fun. - the rooms are all accessed on the second floor. Teresa, the host, was extremely kind, helpful and flexible with our late check in. No breakfast provided but a couple of good cafes beneath that provided us with breakfast

It tended to be a bit noisy at night but that was to be expected given its location, it's not a criticism.

The check in process could be smoother; I had to go into the property with another resident to gain access to the common area to find the wifi login info to then call the proprietor. As they live on the property it was fine in the end.

The location is ideal, on the edge of the old town, but due to this it prevents it from being too noisy. The room was spotless and the AC was greatly appreciated. The staff are very responsive to any queries.

My 3rd July in a row staying there on my annual visit to Donostia. I will stay again there in July 2024. As a single man traveling without the need of many amenities, this is perfect from. Absolutely great location en la Parte Vieja

Everything was great! My only minor complaint is that there was some noise at night as my room overlooked a street in the old town including a bar that stayed open until 2am so it was a bit noisy on Saturday night but on other nights was quiet by midnight or so

A really great location, Teresa was incredibly helpful and kind when I arrived. The room was clean and very comfortable. As a solo female traveler I appreciated the physical key plus keycard access to get inside, plus there were always people visiting the multiple ice cream shops right outside the entrance so when I walked back at night I felt very safe and comfortable (plus could get a sweet treat to end the night!). The location was also great to easily access the old town, beach, and center of the city. My room had a balcony including a clothesline so that was great for drying my beach towel.
