Bathrooms are very tiny and let's say they didn't age so well. There is a special pump for the water in the bathroom so if you need to pee at night your fellow travellers might wake up do to the noise it makes.

Very central and super caring staff. There is also an elevator, which was nice, because it's on the 4th floor. Staff is very focused on keeping everyone quite.

Bed too soft for my husband. Tiny bathroom. Door opening to get inside share so small that we had to step in sideways and tall wall to step over just to get inside shower. Clip for shower wand broken so had to hold shower head and no place to put soap or shampoo. Didn't realize there are two entrances till after we lug our baggage up 4 flights of narrow stairs and when we get to top the host tells us there is an elevator. Very noisy if it's a weekend till 1am.

Great location, lots of restaurants, stores, bus stop within minutes of walking distance.

the mattress should be changed, there is no bedside lamp, a small desk with a kettle would be good to have (instead of a completely unnecessary coffee table and some randomly selected chairs), the doors should be changed into something more soundproof, shower gel could be provided for the visitors, and the bathroom, in general, could be renovated/refurbished. it's all cheap and the location is great, but the money you leave there should be invested more wisely in improving the experience.

the location is awesome, the receptionist is kind, friendly, and helpful, but the place could use some refurbishment.

Room is small and no place to put my luggage. Mattress is too soft and sunk. Bathroom is the one I dislike the most. Sink is too small and no place to put your cleaning stuff. Stand shower is tiny so you can barely turn. They use a pump system to drain all the water out which is fine, but its noise when working is horribly loud and so annoying at night. The host hand washes all the towels. That makes me worry about their hygiene.

location is good, close to Metro station of Catalanya. There are restaurants just under the apartment building.

The shared bathroom was musty and dirty. On check in and when I reserved I asked to be close to the bathroom as I have a bladder issue. Was told on check in that this wasn't possible, and from my room I had to walk past reception to reach the bathroom. Then, in the morning at 9am I was told three times by the receptionist (who had a bed behind the reception ) to be quiet, when I was just walking around normally (once to go to the bathroom, once to check out and once to get my bags). I think I may have woke him up in the night when I had to go to the bathroom, but that's why I asked to be closer to it. I understand the importance of being quiet in hotels of course, but it was 9am and all I was doing was walking to and from the bathroom and door!

The room was actually a lot better than reviews led me to believe. Bed was very comfy and it was very clean. Fine for one night, with excellent location.

Great location, close to La Ramblas, market, bars etc. Paid for a double ended up with a single. Too late to do anything about it. Fine if you just want a bed and shower, but a bit of a prison cell vibe. There were nicer rooms with windows, double beds etc but I was only shown these on leaving, with a "Look, you could have had for an extra £15" , too late.

price was ok until we had to carry luggage up 4/5 flights of narrow stairs, some with loose edging. The room was VERY basic which is fine, but very poor state of repair. Broken floor tiles, shower doors loose, nowhere to hang shower, bare rough plaster/filler around air on pipes etc. the pictures used are VERY old!

In Barcelona when you decide to be in the city center, unfortunately you don't look for a high standard hotel so when you book this kind of hôtel you are just expecting the minimum... This is what it is !

Though it is in the city, taxi drivers are unable to drop in front of the place due to some reasons. So have to walk little further. There should be correct street name and number in booking.com. Room and toilet look small but must be due to City space.

Location is superb. It is in the middle of the city and walking distance to many places after you familiar with the place. So it is saving our time. Everything is available within very short distance. Staff very helpful and speak English very well. So no communication issues. No issues with Hot water after following staff instructions. Lift service is available, so no issues with luggages. Reception staff available and no issues during check in if you can find the correct place. Though room is small can recommend if you need a place to stay at night and visit the places during daytime.
