Very nice feel to the whole property. We were finishing our walk on the Camino and decided for a nice night before we reached Santiago. The property did not disappoint. The beds were comfy nd the showers fantastic. It has an old world sense of luxury and genteel customer service. The women who work there are very nice and even made us a mid-afternoon plate of cheese, olives, bread, and wine even though the kitchen was not actually open.

The hotel is set in beautiful countryside. I enjoyed going for walks around the grounds and the fields beyond. The food was also great - simple but tasty and healthy. The whole place is very calm and quiet. I would have loved to stay longer.

This gorgeous country home is easy to find just off the Camino and is the perfect place to stay before a short walk to Santiago de Compostela. I had a lovely room with an enormous jetted tub—perfect after a long day of walking with everything on my back. The grounds are lovely. My dinner was exceptional. My breakfast was quite good, too. The staff was so very accommodating . I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Since it is 900m away, they are the only option for meals unless if you stop to eat before being picked up.

We loved this place. The room was beautiful and so comfortable. The bathroom had a nice size tub. It has beautiful gardens to enjoy. While it’s not on the Camino trail, 900m away, they do pick you up and return you to the trail. It’s a nice luxury before reaching Santiago de Compostela.

Amazing ambience, super clean facilities and room - absolutely spotless! And finally phenomenal staff - the owner was so kind to pick us up from the airport at 1am after we couldn’t find a taxi. Highly recommend. Great value for money

I wasn’t aware that it was about a kilometer off the Camino so that extra (uphill) walk was tiresome. But it was worth it, to arrive at such a wonderful hostel. The manager showed us a short way back to join the Camino next morning, which was very helpful, although up quite a long hill. I had a deep spa bath in my unit, which would have been sublime. But I was anxious that I may not be able to get out of it. A couple of strong handles on the walls would be a great asset for older guests.

The property itself is exceedingly beautiful and the owners have it looking at its best, with high quality furnishings and bedding and towels. The staff were all warm and welcoming. Because of the late cold snap there was a log fire burning in both the lounge and the dining room. A lovely extra touch. The dinner was one of the best I have had on the Camino.

Friendly owner, nice and big bedroom and bathroom. There is a small chapel. It's out of the Camino path but so worth it to stay here. Breakfast is good and personal

The owner is very welcoming. Has a great gathering area to meet other guests. Is very clean, has comfortable beds and it's quiet. The heater worked well; it was pretty cold outside. Great place to rest.

Stayed here while walking the Camino. This was our last night on the Camino and our third time staying here over the years. It is among our favorite Camino lodgings and the quality of the staff, the excellent on-site dinner and breakfast and the facilities remain exceptional. A great place to stay, especially for pilgrims looking for a comfortable place and a shorter last day into Santiago!

An oasis of calm. warm and welcoming property with beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the reception room as a relaxing place for a drink by the fire. The rooms were comfortable. Alfonso was an exceptional host, attentive to our needs.
