An evening meal was not available until 8.30 which was too late for us after travelling all day.

Our first experience of staying in a Parador & we were very impressed; the location & view of the City were brilliant The room was spacious & comfortable. The public areas were clean & impressive looking. The staff were attentive. Great value.

The building is quite I thought it occupied the site well facing across the river to the cathedral. However, it hasn't aged well as some of the stonework is black stained. The rooms were a bit tired. We tried the cafe which was good on simple food but service took ages. It is a bit of a walk to the old town but it didn't bother us that much. It is convenient for the Roman Bridge the motor museum and the Lis museum which is art deco. All are very much worth visiting.

The rooms were a good size. Parking is free!

Lovely hotel, great room, super friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. A real treat for 2 nights as we made our way back north to the ferry home

Only had breakfast one day as thought it was quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in. Found the breakfast area a bit disorganised. The cook making the eggs ,omlettes etc was often not at his 'station' and you could see guests were a bit confused what to do--needed somebody there all the time to make guests feel welcome. The biggest surprise and disappointment was that the outdoor swimming pool only opens on 17th June. We were told it was only open for Summer---well, given it was 30 /31 degrees whilst we were there late May, I would call that Summer!

Hotel a few minutes walk from centre but worth it for the view of the city. We came by train from Segovia and got bus from station to within 5 minutes walk of parador. Lovely bar area inside and outside on terrace and staff were very efficient and friendly. Beautiful room with view of City.

The view from the hotel is very special, overlooking Salamanca and its Cathedral. the rooms were really big and comfortable and the breakfast was great.

No tables laid for breakfast outside on the terrace in sensational weather. Nobody managing the water in the coffee machine or the hot water in the jugs. Totally reliant on guests to flag up shortages which is very frustrating. We stayed here in Sept 23 and I’m afraid things have slipped since then

We ate at the restaurant and regretted it. The view through the large windows is lovely but the food and the atmosphere aren't. After a number of Parador dining experiences we will need some convincing to eat there again.

The standout features are: the view towards the old town and the easy access to it. This is a modern hotel built to a high standard: no creaky floors or poorly soundproofed rooms here. Bicycle storage is second to none with tools and maintenance products provided.

Breakfast at 19 euro was not good value. Especially disappointing as previous reviews have made suggestions which have not been acted upon. Need another coffee machine to avoid extensive waits; need full-size muesli portions with bigger spoons for cereal instead of teaspoons; need some system for the hot food - perhaps the chef stationed there full-time, a bain marie or maybe you could order when you give your room number on entering.

The view was amazing. The size of the room. The accommodation is very very nice. Great parking. Very close to the city of Salmanaca. A walk downhill (back up steps and hill). Salamanca is beautiful

The bar cannot serve anything besides chopped cheese to follow drinks out of restaurant hours. The cuizine is closed, so the bar menu is not valid during that period.

Nothing - everything was good and we'll stay again.

Excellent location with plenty of parking. Ideal is you are travelling further afield. Our room was large and comfortable with a large double bed. Staff were friendly and helpful as always. Breakfast food choices were excellent. We have stayed here several times now, and this time we ate in the bar in the evening which was really enjoyable.

Restaurant could open a bit earlier in the evening before 8.30 pm, but this is traditional in Spain.

It is very close to the Cathedral, it is very convenient. It is also very close to restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again in the future. We wish we could have stayed longer
