The swimming pool is nice but no longer looks anything like the photos on Booking.com. The lawn that you see in the photos is all over-grown and not useable. Suggest that the old photos are removed and more recent ones added. Pool opening times are limited. 12h30-14h30 and 16h30-18h30 in July and August, and just 16h30-18h30 in June and September. This information is available on the hotel's website but is not provided by Booking.com. It is a nice, shaded pool area for a refreshing dip at the end of the day but the information and photos on Booking.com should really be more accurate.

The staff are fantastic. Views are amazing (totally worth the walk up the hill!). Spacious room and bathroom with nice balcony. Decent breakfast.

One floor tile was broken and bathroom radiator was a bit dirty, but nothing else.

To reach the hotel you need to climb a big hill - but in return you get amazing view from balconies! Very spacious room, nicely furnished. Staff was was polite & professional. Wifi was OK, as well as food.

The whole hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. The balcony furniture is dropping to bits. The rest of the bedroom is dark and outdated. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles and was difficult to shut the door. There was evidence of flaking paint and rust on the fittings.

The staff of the Parador were excellent and could not help you enough, The view from the room was good, the breakfast was ok.

The walk up the hill was tough, but could have taken a taxi.

Service was excellent. Room was big and clean. Very happy with my choice. I liked the old charm of the period furniture and decor. My style.

Bit of a slog up the hill from the centre but the views are worth it in my opinion. No price list for mini bar uless you have a smart phone with code reader- a bit weird for a traditional hotel!

excellent breakfast and dinner. staff were helpful. Nice old fashioned feel to the place. Views were spectacular, Close to the historic sights. Nice ambiance.

Very old facilities. Not a single dime has been invested in renovations in the last 10-20 years.

    Amazing holidays in Melilla

This is the second time I have visited Melilla. Before that I didn't have the opportunity to stay at the Parador De Melilla, I stayed at another hotel. But I kept walking and walking up the hill and into the grounds of the Parador De Melilla to see the magnificent view of the city itself, the port and the sea. A few years later, I decided to visit Melilla again. This time I stayed at the Parador De Melilla hotel. When I made my booking, I asked to be accommodated on the top floor. Unfortunately, I was accommodated on the 3rd floor out of 6. The view from the window and the balcony was stunning. The panoramic view of the city and the nearby park was excellent. Partial view of the port and the sea. The room is spacious. The bathroom is large. There is a small fridge. One slight drawback might be that the staff don't speak English at all or only partially, so for non-Spanish speakers this could be a personal disaster. The restaurant has an „A LA CARTE“ catering system and the menu is only in Spanish, so it was a bit of a vacuum from the start, as I didn't even know how to ask for food or get a cup of tea at breakfast. The same situation with not knowing the language happened during dinner. All sorts of translation apps on my phone came to the rescue. So the very next day I went to breakfast with a small baggage of Spanish words: omelette – „TORTILLA“, water – „AGUA“, and at dinner I asked for fish – „PESCADO“, vanilla ice-cream – „HELADO DE VAINILLA“, orange juice – „ZUMO DE NARANJA“, and what is most important, I was served everything and it was all delicious. Thank you to the wonderful hotel staff.
