The “non-staff” person in the parking area and entrance begging for tips to “keep your car safe” is not the best first impression.

Absolutely stunning location! Just a beautiful place to stay and relax either in the hotel or its swimming pool. Food excellent. Do not miss Ciudad Encantada…..about 30 min drive from town but wonderful!

Parking: As you approach the hotel there is an in & out drive where you may be able to stop whist registering. Alternatively, stay on main road as it continues, when level with the hotel you’ll see the hotel’s garage on the right, this is 25€ per night. There are no parking restrictions on this road, however, an unofficial parking attendant ( common in Spain ) will ask for payment to help you park and keep an eye on your car. Personally, I was happy to pay him 20€ rather than negotiate a typical Spanish garage:-) You could park and refuse to pay anything, I would advise against that. Hope this helps

This didn't apply to us as we have a light dinner in the courtyard and ordered from the bar menu; however, the hotel restaurant opens at 20:30 for dinner

Amazing location with great views of Old Town Cuenca and the hanging houses, as well as the beautiful nature around it! Spacious room and bathroom with everything we needed like safe and fridge Very generous breakfast buffet We really enjoyed drinks and snacks in the courtyard at night to relax from the day and hikes. Our main meal is lunch and we are fine having a smaller/light dinner.

I found a toe nail in the bathroom, and under the bed was a small box with ear protectors, which i put in the bin. Water took a time to come through hot, which is not a problem, but a waste of water, but appreciate an old building.

I liked everything.

The location is the absolute best; steps away from the old city via the bridge-views of the city are breathtaking, day and night. The room was VERY spacious, accomodating a single and Queen size beds with extra room to spare. Very spacious bathroom too.

Lovely historic parador beautifully decorated. We had a comfortable room overlooking the metal bridge that connects old town The setting on the cliff is incredible. The walk into township is easy and cries all around breathtaking!

The parking situation is very challenging, especially for a car larger than sub-compact.

Stunning setting above the river gorge with view that is simply spectacular. Old world charm combined with inspirational natural beauty. Hotel staff is exceptional at serving the needs of guests: reception, dining room and housekeepers were all first class.

The food, both breakfast and main meal in the restaurant, was okay but nothing special.

Location and room were great. Staff were helpful and polite. Parking on the street was available and free. Access to the old town was easy, just a walk across the bridge. The town itself unexpectedly very interesting and well worth a visit.
