Room very hot but fan helped

Shower was slick with just water. Walls are thin. I think we heard everyone wake up throughout hotel. You could hear light switches in next room, lol. Surprising as it was extremely quiet when we came in at 11pm.

Location was perfect inside the walls. The inside is architectural interesting, exposed beams, varying levels (watch your step) beautiful woodworking. Very clean

Parking is a bit of a problem within the city walls.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. It looks like an old castle and was right in the inner city walls. Breakfast was ok.

I totally recommend staying at this Palacio. Very nice historic building in the center of Avila in walking distance to all areas of interest. Reception was friendly and they offer some discounts for hotels and a good value for money cheap breakfast in the morning.

The internet doesn't work. As I was travelling for work, this was a significant limitation. I complained about it, and this was not well addressed by the team. I don't recommend the accommodation for anyone travelling for work.

This is an interesting accommodation option, well located in Ávila, within the walls, close to everything and at a reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable.

The drive to the hotel through the old town goes to narrow streets, including getting out through a very narrow town gate. Those coming with big cars have to be careful.

In the old town so near to everything one needs to see I'm Segovia. Staff checked in earlier than indicated as the room was already available. Nearby street parking seems always full. But free and huge parking 10-15 minutes walk away.

The location of the hotel was really nice and close to almost everything. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

We checked in here on the 14th day of our trip, so we had many pieces of luggage and small bags. We actually didn't know that they didn't have an elevator. Since the hotel is an old building, it had many stairs, so I took out things I needed for the night and left my luggage in the lobby. However, the staff was very kind, and he helped us carry our other luggage to the room.

It seemed to be an actual old palace that they turned into a hotel. Where my family stayed had an upper floor, and the upper floor had an extra room with an additional bed. Most of the things they provided were very clean, and we really liked the bathroom with tile decorations. The staff were also kind.

There was a bit of language difficulty over the check in arrangements and the WiFi didn’t easily connect, but I had roaming so it didn’t signify but might to others. There is no lift.

Everything was delightful with the charming, large, old and yet well-appointed property. The breakfast was delicious and exceptional value.

The breakfast was good, but most guests only appeared to stay one or two nights. After a week of the same breakfast each day it began to lose its appeal

I didn't like view (no view) from my room - just a small, not nice dark inner courtyard.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful historic building, the breakfasts are great.

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. It was, surprisingly, very poor. Probably for the low season, but it was the only negative aspect. The parking is outside the antique wall. Well, there is no elevator. Not a problem for me, just to say.

The receptionist was very very kind! The house and the rooms are antiques, with a lot of charm. The position of the hotel is inside the antique wall, so it is perfect to walk around.

The room we stayed in was not well insulated so there was a fair bit of noise to cope with.

When we returned to our room after dinner it was extremely hot, with the radiators on max. We turned them off, which apparently we should not have done because they flooded the room. The room remained far too hot to sleep comfortably, and we ended up having to sleep on top of the covers when it was 0º outside. We stayed in the suite, which was very spacious, but there was no desk or table that we could work on (which was essential during our stay), and the two armchairs were on the brink of collapsing.

Great location, very near the cathedral and areas of interest in the walled part of the city. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly when we had to leave our room a bit later than technically permitted. Breakfast was fine at 6€ (continental, with bread, croissant, ham, cheese, cereal, coffee and juice).
