Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsI wouldn't recommend the sofa couch that much, it's leather, and not that big, so don't count on it for 2 people.
You can't find a closer location to everything than this. Pick a location in the center and it's less than 10 minutes of walking. We never had to use the public transport for anything. Even if you want to use it, walk for 1 minute and you're in a metro station.

The location also is very near the bus/train and also well within the city center. Near Gran Via and Plaza Del Sol/ Plaza De Mayor/ Royal Palace are walkable. It was a great experience!

The location was so convenient it’s in the heart of Madrid it was close to all the attraction.no need to have a car .the metro is a minute away .but its better to walk ,you get to discover the city .there is a supermarket at the corner of the street and a lot of good restaurants . I really recommend this place 👍

New ZealandApartment walls are very thin so you can sometimes hear the neighbours. Wifi was weak and patchy, and outside noise from late night revellers made for some interrupted sleep.
Fantastic location, very central and easy walk to all of the downtown areas. Nicholas was super friendly and gave us some excellent suggestions for things to do during our stay.

Perfect location for football fans, shopping fans and those who aim at visiting historical sites: several metro lines arr in walking distance, as well as buses (tourists routs also). But we just walked. 20min to prado or other museums. Host is great, met us and was in contact during our stay. Appartment is quiet, fully equiped, washing mashin is of a great use (in a day everything dried out on the racks), balcony, bed and couch are great, air conditioner works and warms up quickly the room. Supermarket right around the corner. Elevator in the building. Highly recommend.

FranceKitchen well equipped with white goods but could do with more cutlery and crockery. Bedlinen and towels were provided and very good but a tea towel in the kitchen would have been helpful. A bit of noise on the street and from surrounding neighbours but not enough to spoil our stay.
Perfect location close to Gran Via and Royal Madrid. Really helpful owner / staff Very clean apartment In a small and not touristic building We felt like Madrileños and not tourists. Loved it !
