Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicShowers and toilets would deserve more care and cleanliness. Some of furniture, doors etc are just temporarily fixed. Capsule doors are quite noisy (it should be quiet area but then you're trying to open/close your capsule and wake up everybody) :) Please, install some table and clothes hooks to the area with lockers, this would be very helpful.
Capsules are really small but definitely big enough for the concept they represent. They're also cosy and clean. Common/shared area (kitchen, dinning room) is ok, possible to work a bit there, prepare some food etc. Staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is 20 min walk to Guggenheim as well as to old town, 5 min walk to nearest metro station.

IsraelThe common areas are a bit worn out. The cleanness of my capsule could be better, they do not hover the "floor" where the door closes, it's full of dust and also ventilation was dusty.
The staff was really nice. The location is convenient. The blender in the kitchen was a nice surprise! Overall it's fine for a 1_2nights stay

PolandFreezing cold in the lockers area, no space to dry your clothes apart from the locker or the bed and it rains frequently in Bilbao.
It's a good option to stay in Bilbao for a good price. The capsules are pretty spacious and comfortable for 2 people.

AustraliaEmphasis was placed on silence in the dorms, which was adhered to by the guests. However, the capsules themselves are not at all soundproof, so the noise of doors and capsules opening or people snoring could be easily heard.
A cool capsule design that is very nicely implemented. All areas were clean and spacious, capsules felt very private. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel is quite conveniently located 10 min walk from the main bus station and 15-20 min walk from the city centre, with public transport options also available.

United KingdomLocker space and limited area to arrange clothes or items required. Needs an ante room, especially for women to get ready, guys need space too. It I was thinking about makeup etc. The quiet sleeping area and pods themselves were not suitable for this purpose.
Great location-handy for metro Indautxu, local buses & transport to wider region. Close to many amenities a plethora of gyms, parks, shops & eateries. Staff were very helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. I was impressed by the calming nature of the Pod sleeping area, kitchen, dining and lounge facilities were excellent. Lovely showers with bathing solution provided. Cleaners kept the place spick & span. A series of benches on the street provided a relaxing environment to chill at any time of the day and night. Felt safe at all times.

United StatesThe inside area was small, small area in bathrooms, sleeping quarters and near the lockers. Also, you can hear the doors on the capsules open/close, so it’s not that quiet.
It was about a 10 minute walk from the Intermodal bus station which was convenient. I liked that they had sleeping capsules as I wanted to try them out.

United StatesThe lockers are a bit small, so there isn’t so much space to leave your things. The bathrooms could use some touching up. It can also get a bit crowded in the common areas at times (lockers, bathroom, etc.).
I really like the capsule concept. Provides privacy and comfort, while being budget friendly. The capsules have plenty of charging options and a TV, which is really nice. The staff is amazing; very friendly and helpful!
