Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

TurkeyOnce, I wanted to call a taxi, and they informed me that they could not call a taxi except for the airport. It was the first time I experienced a hotel saying they couldn't call a taxi. The pool is tiny, it is like a decorative pool. It's not good that the toof bar closes at 8:00 PM.
The breakfast options were very good, with plenty of choices for sweet, savory, and beverages. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel's location was good. It's a stylish hotel and doesn't let in noise from outside.

The location is perfect. They are also very nice with bringing you a bottle of cava on arrival and when you leave - as well. On Thursdays there is a Dj downstairs at the hall. Overall everything was great. I have nothing to complain about. We haven't tried the pool but only because of the weather.

United KingdomI've stayed in a number of 5 star hotels across the world, and this hotel was definitely not to the same standard (more like a 4 star). Overall the hotel was a very nice 4 star hotel. Our air conditioning in the room did not work properly and this was challenging as the windows don't open in the room either, so there was terrible circulation and no fresh air, especially after showering. Reception looked at the air con twice, but were not able to fix it. The hotel also did not have any fans. The pillows were uncomfortable and the quality of the mattress could have been better, especially as this hotel is rated 5 stars. I would expect a much higher level of bedding for the star rating.
The location of the hotel is excellent and we were in walking distance to a huge range of museums, locations, cafes and restaurants. Our room was extremely large, quiet and extremely clean. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace is lovely. Excellent tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Large, comfortable bathroom. The free vouchers for cava was also a lovely touch.

United KingdomThe swimming pool is very small. The the online photos of the hotel give the impression that the pool is big which is not not the case unless there is another pool which we were not aware of while staying there.
Great central location. Friendly and very helpful staff. Very good clean non-smoking accommodation. Generous as from the start they gave us free welcome drinks and 20% discount on the hotel bar drinks during our stay. In addition, one night at 3 am one of the hotel residents became very unwell and his wife was shouting for help. We woke up and helped them and called the ambulance team who took him to hospital. The Hotel management and all staff were very appreciative to our help and the next day the Manager thanked us with a card and a bottle of cold Cava / Prosecco😊
