It was a new area for us, and the approach is a little barren, with scrubland, some dereliction, some graffiti disfigured infrastructure, that some may find unsettling. But once in the apartment complex, all is great.

We had two fantastic nights. Wonderful complex (an oasis in a stark landscape), great apartments, fantastic pools (heated - nice and warm water - bravo for that), superb breakfast, choice was amazing and lovely poolside setting and atmosphere, pleasant vibe. We were on a long drive around Spain and this was a top notch place to unpack, use the excellent washing drying facilities of the apartment, and relax on the balcony and by the pools. Great Lidl close by to top up with any groceries. We had ringside seats over one of the tees, and spent a few hours watching the golfers drive off.

Taxis into Alicante were difficult. Would be great if they ran a shuttle bus every hour.

Kitchen in our apartment was a bit run down with signs of high usage on the cupboard doors.

Some kitchen cupboards hadnt been cleaned out but bathrooms and main areas were. Only 2 patio chairs for a place that sleeps 4. Some furniture for roof terrace would also be good. No kettle but one was soon delivered one.

A little tricky locating the resort and the GPS took me round and round. The kitchen had no boiling kettle and 2 tiny cooking pots. A few more utensils for those who like cooking would be excellent.

It was very good time in Alicante, very beautiful plans (the staff takes care of the palm trees and oleanders). Helpful staff and delicious breakfast.

The building is a bit old. You feel like living in an old building. Toilet next to the bedroom is bad as water comes out if you take shower. Also expensive as the location is far from city center.

The food is average, and it’s quite a noisy place to be during the day and in the evening. The apartments aren’t well sound insulated.

The resort is located not too far from Alicante and is very green with ginormous swimming pools. It’s an older construction with good size apartments.

That I asked for early check-in, came with a little tired and fussy baby at 1 pm and got the room at 4 pm, not even an hour earlier. Really? Was it that impossible to do it? I am sure it was a matter of organization
