Nothing ……. Perfect stay

Fantastic location in quiet street but close to centre and all amenities in Nerja. Wonderful modern clean apartment and solarium upstairs ….. just perfect!

Nothing to dislike for people visiting as a couple. We arrived by taxi. If you intend to go by car then be aware that Calle Nueva is a quiet street but narrow and one-way. You may not be able to stop outside number 22 for much longer than it takes to unload your baggage, so ask the owners about local parking before you arrive.

The terraced house contains a ground floor apartment that is newly refurbished and well equipped. Owners Gilberto and Mari Carmen live next door. They were attentive and friendly hosts who did everything possible to make our stay a good experience. The property was located very close to the centre of Nerja with shops starting almost as soon as we walked to the end of Calle Nueva. A Mercadona supermarket was just a short walk from the apartment.

A lovely, spotlessly clean apartment with very friendly and helpful hosts, and a wonderful roof terrace, in a great location, quiet and yet close to everything in Nerja.

The apartment was beautifully finished to a high standard, spotlessly clean and equipped with all you would ever need. The hosts Gilbert and Carmen were perfect and couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasure.

About this apartment. Its really hard to find fault. So, I'll have to stretch....no parking. BUT that's known up-front. And there is free, safe parking less than 5 mins walk away. And you can grab a nice cafe con leche on the way. And no pool....but with so many fantastic beaches so close (from about 5 mins walk onwards) why do you need a pool?? Also, hard to find decent coffee....but again the hosts have that covered....with a nespresso machine and pods in the apartment!

Location - so close to...beaches, restaurants (Colosseo became a fav. Though there are loads of traditional and touristy one close too). BUT also so quiet at night. The beaches are really a wonderful surprise. As are nearby towns. Hosts - Gilberto and Mari. Lovely hosts! Apartment was like a home away from home. It has been well thought out. You can even watch irish TV if you're feeling homesick.... Also....washing machine and dishwasher with soaps! Very close to the motorway too, so easy to head off on longer days rips, as we did a couple of times.

The hosts (Maria and her husband) were excellent. Super helpful, friendly and gave us some great recommendations for our stay in Nerja. The property itself is fully equipped and finished to a high standard. Having the roof terrace was a real bonus too! Approximately 15 minutes walk to the main beach but only a few minutes walk to the main town area and some great tapas restaurants.

Lovely helpful hosts, easy to contact if you need to. Location was perfect for bars, restaurants and beaches Apartment facilities top spec which included easy to use coffee machine, including pods.

Have to say this was an excellent property in which it exceeded our expectations. Both Mari Carmen and Gilbert were very helpful and also very friendly. The street itself must be the about the quietest in Nerja as hardly any traffic passes. We will be back next year.

Excellent accommodation. It was so central to Balcon d Europe.& beaches. Excellent variety of restaurants & shops close by. The accommodation is spotless & so well equipped. Apartment is situated on quiet residential street, we had perfect sleep. Hosts were close by & contactable by what's app if we needed anything. They are so nice & very helpful. We hope to revisit this beautiful apartment. We left with beautiful memories ❤️

Thank you Mari & Gilbert for been wonderful hosts / hostesses. Nothing was too much-booking taxi, restaurant recommendations, telling us re: Easter processions. Apartment was so clean, central, rooftop terrace was lovely to enjoy the sun. We will be back. Thank you for kindness, hospitality.

Would have loved to have stayed longer !!!

The location was perfecto !! Our host met us and showed us around .Lovely touches were left eg coffee, beer etc They had thought of everything, high quality . The roof terrace was a wonderful space to have breakfast and enjoy a peaceful location in the heart of Nerja

Showers needed to be kept short otherwise water cooled down. This is due to solar water heating, I believe, as this is an eco friendly apartment.

Attractive, clean property, well equipped and very comfortable. The apartment was close to all the main attractions yet on a very quiet street so no noise which was great. The owners were friendly and were very easy to communicate with and happy to help with anything we needed.

We actually liked everything.

The apartment is very modern, nicely decorated, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The rooftop is great and outfitted with chairs and a sitting area. The location is perfect, quiet but still very close to restaurants, the Balcony of Europe, and beaches. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience, and we can highly recommend Nueva 22.

Both apartments are fantastic and in a really central location. The upstairs roof terrace was a real bonus. Both the apartments and terrace were finished to a real high quality. Maria was an excellent host, always helpful and even took me to a local bank to help me pay a traffic fine from a previous visit to Spain. Her customer service was exceptional and the bottles of cava, biscuits and other extras in the apartment were a touch of class. Thank you Maria

Great location perfect to explore all areas of the town. Set in a quiet but very safe street in Nerja, but minutes from the best best bars and restaurants in town. Gilbert is a very considerate and helpful host and the welcome pack of fruit, chocolate and wine is very generous. The kitchen has everything you need as well as an excellent oven, fridge freezer and nespresso maker (has stove top coffee maker as well). Clean and modern fittings - also has air conditioning in living and bedroom areas.
