A truly exceptional hotel. Great staff. The best cleaning I have ever experienced. Very clean and spacious wheelchair-accessible rooms. The hotel is close to the center and at the same time on the main ring road of the city.

We liked everything!

Amazing breakfast. We had an early morning train we needed to get on. The reception staff was kind enough to pack picnic boxes for us as we were going to miss breakfast. The boxes were ready for pick up early morning at the reception. This gesture was much appreciated.

For a 5 star hotel you should be serving fresh orange juice. Coffee machines could be adjusted to get real cappucino or caffe au lait. When you serve grilled vegies or other things it needs to be warmer (I understand you don't want them to be to dry but other hotels balance better the temperature). Also we didn't get the access to the internal swiming pool while the external is free but unusable when we have very cold weather. You should offer this as an extra when it's very cold. It's a pitty that hotels like yours don't have tickets for Alhambra any more and I had to pay to an agency 110 Euros for me and my wife (abuse and potential corruptive relationships between Alhambra and those "official" agencies)

On arrival we were greeted with extremely welcoming staff and informed we had been chosen as VIP guests of the day.. What a great honour, which made us feel like customers are genuinely valued at the Barcelo.Most Hotels offer more or less the same facilities, but the level of genuine hospitality delivered by all the staff was exceptional.

For the first time we have a complaint about the bed. We had a double bed which made a lot of noise and apart from that if either myself or my husband moved, the other person felt it. We both didn´t sleep well. In May we are back in Granada but this time I will consider booking another hotel.

We have stayed here now several times as the hotel has a great location to visit the city. The reception at the hotel always is very welcoming and they offer a parking space for 18€ a day at the hotel itself. This time we didn´t have breakfast as we left early to go skiing at Sierra Nevada, but we have had it on other occasions and I can only recommend it.

We both thought the bath tub/shower difficult to get into and dangerous because it was so slippery. Maybe a rubber mat would help.

The area is a little dull and it's quite a taxi ride into town.

This is a comfortable if somewhat corporate hotel on the outskirts of town. It has its own underground parking (@18 eur per night) The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were far too warm and the AC was not blowing cold air. Opened the window but ridiculously noisy with night club opposite. Breakfast was not up to 5 star standard. The hot food was all stone cold. No big plates.

I found everything to be very good.

Arrived at the hotel early for check in as our flight was a morning one. Only expected to drop our bags off, however our room was already ready and on arrival at the hotel we were informed we had received a complimentary upgrade that included a free gift and breakfast. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was also very good. A bottle of champagne and a chocolate platter was delivered to our room free of charge which was super cool and appreciated & upon leaving we received a small gift bag so all in all a very good stay!

The fact that there were complimentary water bottles only on arrival. We also stayed at other 5 star hotels and they offered us daily complimentary water bottles.

Everything was very good! The staff were friendly and helpful from the start and the superior double room we booked was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also great as there was a bit of everything and the chef was really kind.
