Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

It was in a wonderful location. Basically in the middle of everything we wanted to do.

United KingdomThe room could have been doing with a little bit of work, the flooring in particular. The laminate in the room had multiple gaps, just enough to nip the skin on your foot if you stand on it wrong. The paint in the bathroom needs touched up, it's peeling on the door frame and the floor has a few parts where you can see the old tile colour though chips. The plug provided in the bath, does not fit.
Fantastic location, bed was very comfortable, staff all very friendly. The room faced the inner courtyard, it's tiny so you are really just looking at a wall if you look out the window. This was a huge advantage in the 30° heat as it kept the room at a really nice temperature. The room service was great, they made sure the room was cleaned daily, replaced towels if needed and tidied up the room.

Price of 130 eur per night is overpaid for this type of room and comfort.In the bathroom I didn’t had brush for the toilet chair and it was very uncomfortable, I ask men from the reception if they can give me brush because I don’t have it in the room from my first day and he told me that they do not have it . So hotel with 3 star in the center of Barcelona without brush for toilet chair for 130 eur per night without breakfast. Unfortunately good location is not enough, hotel need some renovation. Windows and doors are not soundproof. Its very noisy, evan with closed window you heard sounds like you on the street.

United KingdomStaff were just okay, mostly seamd indifferent. But then it would still be better than most people working in hospitality that we came across with our 4 days in Barcelona. And another thing was that I asked the hotel to get us a taxi to the central bus station (we were checking out in the middle of the night) which they did, but the driver charged us twice as much as I payed when I got a taxi from the train station to the hotel. I didn't understand why there was such a difference in price, and it felt like we were taken advantage of. Otherwise, everything was good😊
