The sofa bed has seen better days and needs replacement. As it is near Puerta del Sol, the noise from outside is expected, Bathroom needs better ventilation.

I wanted a room for 5 adults for family visiting Spain for the first time and near Puerta del Sol for a quick visit of Madrid. It is near impossible to find one room for 5 adults near Puerta del Sol at a reasonable price but Hotel Mirador had one. The 5th bed was a pull out sofa bed. This hotel is as close to Puerta del Sol as can be and near the Sol Metro station and other tourists attraction.

No drinking water facilities were available. Also the room window was with wall view. The staff were friendly but could not help us to change the room.

The room was clean and the hotel with perfect location, but the room's window was facing the wall of the airshaft area and so no view nor sun.

Sound proofing could have been better. As it is in a noisy all night area, sound proofing is essential.

The location was great, it was possible to walk to many places and it was near restaurants, cafes, and important stores. Beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet.

Nothing. First I feared it would be too loud considering the location on a busy street but once you close the windows you can sleep well. We would stay there again.

I really liked the security. The front door is always locked and you get buzzed in after the front desk checks the cameras. For two traveling women that was a big thumbs up, especially considering that the hotel is very centrally located.

As with many hotels we stayed at, the buildings are older, which hampers some modern looks and conveniences. The main issues were mainly cosmetic, dated interiors, etc.

This hotel was centrally located, easy walking distance to numerous places of interest and metro stations. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to please and handle all requests.

Shower was not easy to use and you either get very cold or hot water until you have to struggle to find the point where it is the right temperature. Bed was not comfy and crooked due to the very used situation. Safe box cost one euro each time you open and close it. Air conditioning control was fixed to the wall and you could only change the temperature and not the wind volume or wind direction.

The bathroom was designed quite unusually so I bumped into the wall several times while turning there, but still very clean and neat

The location is superb, only 2 minutes from the metro station and everything you can possibly need is within the walking distance. The staff was also very nice and helped me with additional documents for my stay. The room was very spacious and even had a separate couch aside of the bed.

It is very central and all the tourist attractions are just a few minutes walk away. Staff are also approachable and helpful. Metro was very close too. I felt safe in the area which was important to me.

Parking was a nightmare, but the hotel now has spaces allotted in a nearby garage if you book them ahead of time. This was not available when we booked. It was very noisy at night due to being in the centre of a busy city.

The rooms were large and clean and it was located right in the heart of Madrid.
