The hotel claims that smoking is not allowed, but it was clear that someone had been smoking in our room just minutes before we arrived, as they even left an ashtray behind. When I spoke to the staff, they were neither understanding nor concerned. The parking was paid, the room was large, but the bathroom was tiny. The staff's attitude was the worst I’ve experienced in all of Andalusia. I will not be returning.

Sometimes the bathroom had a bad smell, something coming from the ventilation system maybe. The door would get stuck sometimes when entering the room and it would only open after a couple attempts with the key. Not too many restaurants/bars nearby, the main street with more food options is a 20 minute walk.

Super comfortable king sized bed, decent breakfast and friendly staff. Also pet-friendly! Free parking nearby on the street. Well equipped gym. Gibraltar is only a 25 minute drive which makes this hotel an great and inexpensive choice!

There were gaps and walk ways on the 5th floor which was scary 😅 you could see all way to the bottom.

Room was quite cold at night, could do with some heating during cold winter months.

Stopped over on my way to Morocco - hotel is probably one of the best available, underground secure parking, room service - pizza was nice and tasty, access to use the gym, I was upgraded to a suite which was great, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Receptionist was decent, breakfast was filling and plenty of choice - those reviews stating the breakfast was terrible must have triggered change because there were almost too many options available. Smoothies, juices, different types of breads, cereals, fruits, egg, cheese etc - not sure what more you can expect for 10 euros.

Shower cabinet had a loosen base. Room was huge and did not feel comfy, as there was no enough to fill it up. Some lights were not working, and parking is ridiculous expensive for what is offered.

It has a king size bed, water temperature & pressure for shower was perfect. There was a little kettle and a mini bar, with a 1.5l bottle of water. Easy to access and not far from city centre. Breakfast had a lot variety however decaf coffee from the machine was just water.

We were giving rooms on the 5th floor and the latch on the windows were broken and we were not able to close the windows for the safety of our kids. The windows don’t even have restrictors to keep the windows from being wide open, for safety reasons. We did ask the receptionist to move us to the ground floor but she didn’t seem bothered that the windows were not safe on the 5th floor, especially since we had a 3, 7 and 10 year old in the rooms.

When I'm.im Algeciras I always stay here. very good staff all through. especially Irene on reception. Always smiling and willing to help.if needed. the beds are great comfortable. it's quiet and very clean. the rooms are airy and modern and very spacious. I use it as a base for Gibraltar and my businesses there. all in all amazing value for money.
