The only negative was we stayed only for one night, such a shame we couldn't stay longer.

The hosts were very attentive to our needs, even making sure our 3 Chihuahua dogs needs were met. The accommodation was fantastic and the breakfast was particularly delicious. Very pleasant stay and if we were ever in the area again we would definitely book to stay at Mas Gibert without a doubt. The gardens were absolutely amazing. I think Salve did the gardening. Great job by both of you.

A very characterful building with a lovely friendly couple running it - made to feel very welcome. We had a spacious bedroom with a balcony overlooking the garden - garden was perfect for sitting in having a drink and catching last days of sun. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Hosts provided a delicious breakfast. Good walking routes from house.

Everything. Beautiful place, unique, and the hosts went out of their way to make one feel welcome and explain all the beautiful things around the property and area. So much better than a regular town centre hotel and just 5 km out of Girona. Will definitely return and for a few days next time.

Without GPS, it would be fairly difficult to find Mas Gilbert; maybe the hosts could send a .pdf map once a guest has reserved a room. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

Absolutely superb home and wonderful, lively hosts. We also thoroughly enjoyed the garden, the patios and the quaint breakfast area where we had lovely homemade jams, fresh fruit and plenty of very good coffee. We also got a tour of the premises, some dating from the 14th century, which added to the pleasure of our stay.

This is our second home in Spain. We were there 4 times and will come back as much as we can. I wish Salvi and Ignacio were my uncles, so I come for holiday all the time. The best place, the best humans, the best breakfast, garden, area, surroundings. I miss them already so much. Hopefully next year we are back.

Wish we'd been able to stay longer.

Quiet hamlet location (no barking dogs!!) surrounded by countryside but close to the motorway just outside the town of Sant Gregori, which has cafes and shopping. Salvi and Ignasi are warm and welcoming. Their old stone house has been renovated to a good architectural standard, with comfortable beds and linens, adequate lighting, small modern bath, A/C, and even screens on the windows--not always a given in B&Bs--all this whilst retaining the integrity of the of the historic structure. Breakfast is simple, fresh, and local (with home-made jams) served in a quaint cozy room with a fantastic stone bread oven. This property has been lovingly resurrected from a dilapidated roofless state 30 years ago to a fun, funky, cozy artistic retreat. There is a small plunge pool in the garden and plenty of amusing antique relics about the outbuildings. We love unusual places, and we will be back.

Very warm welcome on arrival by the hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful home & location. The gardens include some lovely areas to sit out. Immaculately clean. Breakfast the following morning was really nice and included delicious home made jams, along with a variety of cheeses and hams.

We really liked everything. Absolutely no negative things to mention.

The place is just amazing! You feel like living in a bygone era, something around Renaissance. The facilities are very well kept and you feel an excellent taste all around, even in every small detail. Your really don't want to leave Mas Gibert. And the bonus: The hosts, Salvi and Ignasi, are among the best we have ever met! Always kind, friendly and extremely accommodating! Thank you very much Salvi and Ignasi. We'll definitely be back!

Nothing to dislike about this property. Lots of places to sit outside with a glass of wine we had brought with us.

Very peaceful and quiet. A very different property which was rustic and charming. Very interesting furniture and items dotted around the gardens and property. We were met by the owners on arrival who were friendly, helpful and extremely pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful and our room was comfortable and very clean. Would certainly recommend this property.

Quiet location outside of town (rural). Lovely old property, beautifully decorated with antiques. The garden is a delight, full of sculpture and interesting decoration. The breakfast was delicious and the room very comfortable. The best part was how friendly and accommodating the hosts were. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, including finding an excellent local restaurant for us on a holiday. Highly recommend
