Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI did have to pay for parking as my Audi sedan would not fit in their parking garage, but the lot was close by. I paid around $22 or $25 per night in the parking garage. The rooms are of smaller size, and the hallways are dark.
The location is excellent. Close to many shops, restaurants, old town, and the beach. It's on a quiet street. The pool area is pleasant, and they have a little bar and a comfortable outdoor seating area. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options.

Lovely hotel in a great location just a few minutes walk from the beachfront and the old town. Comfortable big bed and good facilities in general. Rooms cleaned with fresh towels etc every day.

Location was amazing, 2 minute stroll to the beachfront and 10 minute walk to the Old Town. Room far exceeded my expectations, it was far better than some 4* hotels I've stayed in Spain before. The staff were great, couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Would rush back here if I visit the region again.

Fabulous position, very close to the beach and local restaurants. Staff very friendly and couldn’t have done anymore for us. Clean, tidy with excellent breakfast.

United KingdomThe actual reception was weird it was like the being in a window and felt like I was at an office or a bank, checking in not like a hotel . The position of everything doesn’t seem quite right on the ground floor, although there’s nothing wrong, it’s all aesthetic’s. 
Very nice bar staff , reception staff were particularly helpful the property and pool area. I like the corridors to the bedrooms.  the bedroom is very spacious and I received an upgrade with a large balcony.

United KingdomThe first room given to me had a really bad damp smell from the bathroom so I requested to change the bedroom. The second room was better, but all the bathrooms in this hotel seem to have a damp smell due to the fact that these bathrooms are not tiled, instead they have laminate flooring and plater walls will little ventilation.
The breakfast served was good enough for a 3 star hotel along with the wonderful pool area. The bedrooms are spacious with lovely balconies and huge TV screens. It is also great that irons and ironing boards are provided. The staff were all great and very helpful.

IrelandOur room cards stopped working 3 different times which had to be rectified at reception. This was a little annoying especially if there were queues at reception. Pool was quite small but adequate for our stay.
Was very clean, bed linen changed daily and room was always kept spotless. There was no pressure to book a sun lounger by the pool. Air Con worked perfectly in our room and was needed! Room was spacious.
