The bald guy from the hotel bar was unprofesional.i asked for a beer and a coca-cola and he gave me the cocke in a glass from a plastic bottle, i told him that i want a normal coke in a glass bottle because i have seen before that he served it like that to other people. and he answerd me if i want one more ? i said no i just want this changed in a normal coke, so he took the coke and the beer from my hand and did not want to sell me anymore. crazy it was his lose as the rest of the days me and my friends we did not order nothing more from the bar.(we are good tippers).

Hotel is very clean, and has great facilities like the jacuzzi, pool, we had dinner and breakfast included and it was good and diversified.

It would have been nice to have the option to book a parking sport in advance.

Everything was nice, the room was clean, the breakfast good, did not have the chance to try the pool, but overall, all good.

The location was very good. Excellent choice for breakfast, something for everyone and my husband loved the omelettes. The pool area was spotless and was regularly cleared of dishes and glasses by the waiters. I loved the solarium and jacuzzi. The hotel reception staff were excellent, always smiling, and very helpful when needed advice.

We originally selected Mar Blau because the Booking.com description said it offered activities for children. We were told it's still early and that these may start the week after our arrival, but that never happened. For parents with a very energetic six-year-old, it was disappointing, especially after hearing from friends a year earlier who stayed somewhere else in Spain and told us how great it was. Having an hour or two to ourselves would have been nice Also to note, full board does not include basic non-alcoholic drinks for lunch and dinner. Usually alcoholic drinks would be extra, but not here. Overall a very positive experience and we had a really good time. The lack of advertised kids activities drop the rating for me to 9/10, but otherwise can't fault it - everything else was really excellent.

We stayed at the hotel for two weeks and have to say that the staff are amazing. Always friendly, smiling, attentive, and willing to help. The food was good, and the hotel is clean and well-maintained. The room was just right with a small fridge and all the basic amenities you'd expect. There's a nice pool and a jacuzzi on the fifth floor. We never tried the jacuzzi. There were Zumba classes and music on Friday evenings. It's also in a good location with everything you need in close proximity. The beach is about 10 minutes away on foot.

The lock didn’t work on our patio door. Reported at 3.30pm but it wasn’t fixed until mid morning following day & then the patio door was left open. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard like a board & not great for leading up to an Ironman.

Staff very nice, breakfast was good & varied. I was there for the Ironman & they allowed bikes in the rooms and put on early breakfast on raceday.

Good hotel, clean and well run,nice quiet location but at same time just a few hundred metres from restaurants and beach. Large supermarket 100m away. Was in town for an Ironman event, hotel provided full breakfast buffet at 05:00 for the people attending the event. Would recommend hotel.

Overall value of this hotel is great. The available breakfast and diners are nice with a wide variety of choices, however the starting time is quite late (normal in Spain). Also on the advertisements it said that the drinks where included with diner, but they were not. The hotel is close to some clubs where music is played till loud, so expect to need earplugs for sleeping. In summary a great relaxing stay.

The hotel had everything we needed (except a kettle in the room to make tea in the morning). it was clean and the staff were friendly. it’s a short walk to the beach via cafes, shops and restaurants.

One day we left towels next to swimming pool and had to go to our room as we forgot something, when we returned the towels were thrown in pile near the pool by the waiter though half of sun beds next to the pool were empty and we were told if we need to go to our room from the pool we have to report the personnel, so they do not throw away our towels.

During meals, the staff was always looking for to pickup your plate, some times you would even have food in your mouth and they would be asking if you had finished already.

The staff were always paying attention to everything, and they were really nice. Other guests were really nice as well. The pool is big and they've got enough pool beds for everyone. The variety of food in meals is also a big plus.
