Amazing and magical property, one of the best stays I've ever been to. Room is super clean, spacious, modern, with great interior design. Entire lighthouse is perfectly maintained and you can see there is a lot of effort put in the details. Kitchen is fully equipped. Pili is really helpful and she prepared an amazing fresh breakfast delivered to your door in a basket. Infinity pool overlooking the ocean is just a bonus. Highly recommend!

Not a thing

The breakfast was beautiful to look at, and delicious to eat. Bread, fruit, charcuterie, coffee, local honey and jam, all delivered to our room at the time we chose.

- There is no air conditioning inside. With open windows it is not a problem, but it was September and ~+25-28. In 30+ degrees I can imagine that at the high of the day it could get uncomfortable. On the other hand, why spend that time inside? - Not a complaint, but a suggestion to the owner: for the candlelight dinner Pili takes out a folded table. If it would be available on demand for all guests freely, it can be quite convenient.

Well, look at the official pictures, then imagine it is even better in reality. Crazy beautiful place, isolated from the world (but not too much). Sunrise, sunset, stargazing - you can do it from the infinity pool, from the ground terrace, from the roof terrace, or the best option - from the top of the lighthouse. It is not just a perfect romantic getaway, it is THE romantic getaway. - Breakfast is beautifully served and tasty - Housekeepers are extremely nice. - Service is nonintrusive as much as possible, which is exactly right for such kind of experience. But please do have a look at negative review from Tomas - Lighthouse is a luxurious place, buy no five-star hotel, so don't expect same level of hand-holding. - Equipped kitchen with supply of coffee and wine. - Decent book selection in the room. - Area is closed from tourists and there are just 3 apartments on the lighthouse, so it will not get crowded.

Fantastic location! Surrounded by the ocean on one side and banana groves on the other. Very secluded. Lovely breakfast basket with fresh local produce. Private patio and access to the infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Freedom to climb the lighthouse tower at all times of day and night - predictably wonderful views.

Even though I loved all the breakfast food, there was definitely too much to the point where we either were eating it all day or we just sent it back which felt a bit wasteful. I think some sort of menu system would be much better and would create less food waste. I think the space lacked anywhere comfortable to sit like a sofa and armchairs. The pool is lovely but icy cold, not much can be done about that I guess.

The setting was incredible, the views were amazing and the lighthouse itself was so unique. Our host was also super friendly, despite the language barrier she really helped us organising activities. I really loved the food we got for breakfast.

We arrived at 5 PM to the deserted property in the middle of nowhere (we did our toilet in the nearby bush). At the gate, there is no doorbell or any means to announce your arrival. The only way to contact the reception was the call to a telephone number in Berlin we found on the Internet. Although we prepaid a 7 night stay, nothing was prepared not even our room. We had to wait one hour before a (sweet) local woman arrived to the gate, who let us inside just to tell us that the room is not cleaned and we have to wait. Altogether we waited approximately two hours. After that all the restaurants and supermarkets were closed in the nearby area, so we went to bed with an emty stomach. The owner never even apologised, or offered us any kind of compensation. Also the owner never attempted to make ANY contact with us before our arrival and before we toke action. Shared terrace. Zero table surface in the rooms where you can sit and eat your food properly or use your laptop. Forget the work & leisure combo. The OPEN bath & toilet shares space with the kitchen basically you eat and sleep and with the fumes of your pee and poop in the air. The kitchen work-surface is barely enough to make a sandwich or eat your payed breakfast. The 2 separate duvets are thin and small for a couple. The unpractical interior is designed for a lifestyle magazin photo shut only, not for the guests. A perfect place for a one night stand. But best to be avoided for longer stays. The wind is naturally constant, therefor the outdoor pool is much-much colder than the ocean, but there is no beach access at all from the property. Some of the nights we were the only guests and the property is without any night stuff in the middle of nowhere, så we had to sleep with closed doors & windows to feel secure and forget about the sound of the ocean. You can easily find much easier accessible properties with absolute higher level of comfort and definitely better location and view on the island.

The view is fantastic. Constant fresh wind. Remote location, 20 minutes mountain road cardrive from annoying restaurants and supermarkets. Lovely open space voyeur-interior without walls: incl. toilet & bath and kitchen. ideal for one night stands :-)
