There were no views and I would have liked a place to store luggage.

The location is fabulous. Steps away from a central metro stop. Many supermarkets within minutes walking distance. Really steps away from many wonderful neighborhoods and sights.

I don’t think this is particularly the apartments fault but neighbours are a little sensitive to noise. There is a warning to keep noise down after 22:00 but getting ready to go out on a Saturday night and playing some music at a medium level beforehand, I did not expect a noise complaint. Nonetheless, it is understandable and was put in the house rules! Also the streets are always quite lively, even at night thus I would advise not to keep your balcony doors open if you’re a light sleeper.

The location was phenomenal, dead in the centre of the middle of everything you would want to do. The apartment was spacious and clean, with everything we could ask for being provided.

Our only complaint was that the beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Even the 6 year old was uncomfortable

There was some construction works going on at the time. Not the fault of the accommodation of course, so I would come back again.

Location was brilliant - great value for money. It was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Good space for medium size groups.

It may be necessary to update the system in the toilet, since the devices are outdated and in not very good condition. Please note that there are repairs on the street adjacent to the apartment, it is quite noisy during daylight hours.

Location of the apartments was fantastic, near all the must see places. Girls at the reception desk were polite and helpful.

The construction outside was noisy and inconvenient for getting luggage inside. Walk from check in was a little far with all of our luggage. We appreciated that our luggage was able to be stored until check in, but we would have liked for it to be tagged and checked out by staff to avoid mix ups with other guest's luggage. This didn't happen, but could easily be a problem.

Unfortunately the one of two bathrooms had an intense smell. But that was the only unpleasant thing, everything else was good enough. Nice location, clean apartment and a 24/7 place to leave you baggages only six minutes away.

The apartment had two bathrooms, both of which had an awful smell from the tubes. We had to close the doors rapidly so the smell did not trespass into the rooms. The kitchen was equipped with a coffee express machine, but there were no capsules for it. After we bought different types of capsules to try which of them fit into the machine, we found out that the coffee express machine didn't even work. Luckily at the time we visited Barcelona was warm because the air conditioner didn't work in any of the rooms. We stayed for 5 nights, it would have been nice to have more than 4-5 clean towels in the house, as we were 5 guests. Also in the bathroom, there were no hangers for the towels.

The location was great. The apartment was spacious, comfy, and clean. The check-in was easy, as described by the host.

A couple of things that seem to be a problem in Barcelona in general, not just with this apartment. The drains smelt at times but when you walk around Barcelona it seems to be an issue with the city's drainage system and there are numerous maintenance works going on to replace the pipes. There is nothing Palau staff can do about this, so bear it in mind. We did have an issue with noise on the last night with people partying in the apartment complex (there are residents as well as tourist apartments) - noise seems to be an issue for residents throughout Barcelona as there are signs asking for people to respect them and reduce noise. I contacted Santi at 2am to ask if anything could be done about the noise and he immediately contacted the building supervisor who sorted it out. Thanks Santi. A couple of the appliances could do with updating, but all in all great!

Excellent location, ~5 mins walk from Gothic Quarter and Born district and markets and cafes, Metro station at the top of the street, facilities were clean and beds were comfortable, lots of hot water and good water pressure, and the washing machine was a bonus as we could wash and dry everything in a day! Would really recommend as a good place to stay, clean and close to everything. Good value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly! Laura checked us in and gave us a map and tips on things to see while we waited for our check-in time. We left our suitcases at the Black Swan Hostel (which is just around the corner) and in a secure locked room which gave us peace of mind. Santi was there in the afternoon when we collected out suitcases and he was friendly and helpful. We couldn't open the safe initially but within minutes Santi had arranged for a key to be dropped off at the door so we could reset the code. Santi was very helpful on our last night in sorting out an noise issue too. Thank you!

Was a little noisy in the morning.

Outside street was closed and had re-piping constructions going on. Digging the ground noise was loud and dusty. Couldn't get into the apartment for an hour without key code sent to my phone. On the second day, water heater was not working, couldn't take shower. But someone came to fix it on the third day while we were out.

The Location was excellent, close to everything. Cafe in the morning, many restaurants, Transportations (Hop on Hop off bus and Metro), Shopping at Las Ramblas. The Apartment was clean, 3 bdrm 2 bths with 6 beds. Living room with TV. Kitchen with usual items.
