Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomStruggling to find things but if I am being picky it would be the smell of the drains when the windows were closed. A few other things that weren't perfect but they had no impact on our enjoyment during our weeks stay
The location was superb, in the middle of levante so good access to everything. Beautiful views over the ocean and benidorm island. Funlandia was directly behind so was great for us as a family with a 4 year old. Room was bright and airy with plenty of room for us all. Kitchen and facilities were great for cooking small meals and washer was a godsend for us. Olga the host was superb, let us check in 3 hours earlier and met us really early on day of our departure.

United KingdomAs we were 3 grown men it was nice to have our own space. The sofa bed in the lounge are was slightly broken so I slept at an angle but the purpose of our stay meant it didn’t really bother me that much.
The space was fantastic and the facilities great too.. brilliant touch with all the toiletries and kitchen liquids too plus tea and coffee. The balcony and view was amazing as you would expect right on the beach and 10 floors up.

United KingdomThe apartment had no railings on the balcony, which is highly dangerous. The apartment building had extensive building works that required a crane and scaffolding throughout the entire front of the property, preventing any enjoyment of the sea views. The agency that rents the property does not answer any communications that require their help, only messages to collect money or keys. Booking.com will not get involved in trying to resolve any problems, so you book these apartments at your own risk. We would not recommend anyone books with this agency.
